I mean, they don't fall down because of how rigid they are, but I can pull them down quite easily. Measuring them, they are actually about 30 inches.

I'm probably going to just return them, but before I do I just wanted ask if there was any possibility of the waist shrinking to an adequate size.

Thanks.
No.

Thank you for the prompt, concise answer.
I guess I'll end up getting some APCs if I can ever muster up the ability to stomach the price.

i'm 6'5 175 lbs with no butt to speak of and a ~31" waist, probably a 35" inseam (31 size jeans fall off me often times, however i think that's because they're oversized-- when I wear pants I bought in India I can barely fit into a 32).

My old favorite pair were Diesel Zatiny wash 008fc stretch 31x34. These were great for a while, I even got compliments walking down the street in Buenos Aires. They fit me pretty well. They had a dark wash and pretty cool blue back pocket detailing. I was trying to keep these decent looking by starching them and then the crotch finally busted out.

I also have a pair of dark denim slim bootcut Uniqlos (they're not selvedge, but they seem to be made of pretty dark denim that sheds dye). They're 31x34, and they look pretty good if I keep them starched. Right now they still fit OK in the thighs because I am running less, but once I start running more they are tight in the thighs and they tend to be a little too low-rise for me.

My friend is a convert to the APC NS.. the first time I went to buy them I didn't like the way they fit.

Are there any jeans that are a good idea for a very long-legged guy with no butt? I'd prefer raw / selvedge/ very dark. I'd go get another pair of uniqlos but I'm worried about the thigh issue (i got irritation on my inner thighs during the summer because they bulked up with running).

Thanks!

Hey, I'm 6'5"-6'6", 200lb, 33-34 waist (32 in APC NS, 35 in AW Cougar) and I also lack an ass, though I wear anywhere from a 35-38" inseam, depending on the stacking. If you don't like APC (though they are a pretty good pair of jeans, and they'll stretch out and fit pretty well fast) check out Ande Whall, he makes some pretty excellent jeans.

Other than that, there are lots of places that you could check. LVC, a buncha stuff on SelfEdge.com, a bunch of stuff from Blue in Greene (BlueInGreeneSoho.com) would have a long enough inseam, check 'em out (and look at the "Post Pictures of Your Jeans" and WAYWT threads to get an idea of how they fit) and you should be able to find a few pairs that fit your needs.

Ok, so ignore my previous post because I now realize, thanks to this community, that I have been sucker buying pre-washed, predistressed jeans all these years instead of doing it myself. Please forgive my ignorance and help me find the right raw denim for me. I have a little over $100 in credit at revolve so ideally I would like to purchase the jeans from there. The only raw denim that I found in a style I liked was Nudie and I've read conflicting things on this forum in regards to this brand. I want something in a bootcut (the Raw Ralf in Selvage looked about right) that doesn't look like it is painted on. Should I look at other options like the various Japanese brands or other American one's like APC or Rag and Bone. I will spend the money in order to get the best product possible (or best bang for my buck) but I am not exactly flush. Help a newb in his first foray into the world of raw...

I've decided to give my PBJs one more try... They fit me fine in the waist, but I can pinch maybe 1cm (about .3 inches) on thighs - they're basically skin-tight. Do these damn things stretch in thighs?

Nothing wrong with the Nudie RRDS. In fact, all things considered, they're probably your best option at the moment since the only jeans in that style I prefer are 5EP Low Down Boot, which Revolve doesn't have anymore. RRDS = great cut, good denim. Get 'em.

And remember to size down 1.

<$200ish
medium fit/rise, to allow for semi-biker thighs to breath a little bit, but still mostly slim
straight leg
tougher/sturdy denim.

Given all this and half a day spent arching the forums, Rescues may be my best bet--but I'm more than willing to be told I'm idiotically wrong and/or there's a brand I may not have looked over (through either this or the "pics of denim" thread) that fits the bill.

This has been an awesome resource, so thank you all again.

To follow this up with hopefully more information, I went into a Barney's while out to dinner to try on non-relaxed jeans. OTR, with much effort, I could get the button on a 34 Nudie SJ on and again with some effort, the top button on a pre-washed 33 501 on.

After even more surfing in WAYW, I'm thinking Rescues may be a little bit too relaxed for what I'm going for, and I thought the SJ cut looked fairly close to what I'm going for (although I'd prefer a button fly). Are there anything else I should be looking at outside of NS?

I'm really looking into getting the somet 005s (straight fit in black) from BiG... I'm going to have my sister bring them up when she comes to visit.

What's the general consensus on sizing for somets? i've been reading around Sufu and have been getting mixed responses on how the waist size is measured at your hip bone or something.

I'm not new to the low rise so that isn't a problem but I would really be disappointed if I had to return them or resell em somewhere because of the waist not fitting right or eventually stretching out too much.

My current plan was to size down 1... I normally wear anywhere from 28-30 sized jeans. I took at 27 in APC NS's and while they were deathly tight the first two times I tried them on the eventually stretched out to a nice comfortable position.

I hate to be a gigantic noob here (especially seeing as this is my first post) but I'm sort of in a time sensitive situation.

My question: for the LVC 1947 501xx Even though most people would recommend sizing up 2" or so, seeing as they've been on sale recently at most Levi's stores and there's talk of discontinuing the line, the only sizes left at the stores near me are 30-32.

I wear a size 32 waist normally and I've got a pair of size 30 APCs that work perfectly for me. Should I settle for a 32 LVC? How would they turn out after soaking? Any help would be amazing.

^^^ 32s would fit you fine as long as you have no intention on washing them EVER. They'll shrink.

So, no go then. Damnit.
