^ I'd atleast go true to size. Check the superfuture samurai thread for more info on sizing these.

How do you usually soak , washing machine or just in a tub? My washer has a pre soak option which soaks, then agitates. The agitate part isn't a spin cycle, it's more like when it goes through the wash cycle. Would it mess anything up to do the first hot soak in this cycle or should I just stick with soaking in the tub?

You'll probably loose a bit more indigo with the agitation, but I can't imagine it would be very much more, generally.

For pre-soaks, I do it in as hot of a tub as possible for about 40-45 minutes, also adding some boiling water 2-3 times, then drip dry. I've found that it got all of the shrinkage taken care of on the two pairs I've done it with.

So it won't mess up the way they fade?

Hey guys,
Loving my 1.5 month old New Cures, but I'm thinking about starting to save up for a new pair to buy whenever the NC's wear out.

My NC's are 30'd, which should theoretically work well, I'm very active, which has caused them to stretch a ton. I probably could have gone with 29's, or maybe even 28's.

Basically, I'm looking for something that will fit like the sz. 30 NC's from the mid-thighs down (I'd like a 7-7.5 hem), but be more fitted in the crotch/seat/hips, have a lower back (and maybe even front) rise, and have pockets that cause little/no hip flare. In terms of the actual denim, I'd like something I can walk (long distances), bike, play upright bass (weird leg position), and cross my legs in without having to worry about the top block totally losing its shape. I really like the feel of stiff denim. I'm willing to pay up to $300, but could go a bit over that for something really special.

Any suggestions?

I need a new pair of jeans. I want the type of denim in the APC (but a bit thicker, not anti-fit at all but a bit looser in the thighs and snug in the butt (I have bigger legs and a little butt), with a slight boot leg. Raw and dark. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I have several pairs of dark/indigo (APC Rescues, RRL) and now I am looking for some quality lighter denim for the spring and summer. However, I feel like I am in a pickle because most of the lighter or "distressed" jeans have holes, frays, or fake whiskering, etc. which I am desperately trying to avoid.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Levi's has been the only real luck I have had.

Asked this before, was wondering if anyone knew the answer: If I wear 28 in NS, what size would I get in Acne Mics?

Are they a little too much over the top? Also how do I find the inseam of these?I need at least a 34

They look okay. I'm so used to raw that its hard for me to consider distressed jeans. Dior Homme jeans have an inseam of 38 :P
