Or you could try posting the question to one of the industry professionals on the forum, like Kiya in the Self Edge thread. He or someone else in that position might have a good sense of what brands might carry smaller sizes.

Thanks. I'm leery of alterations shops ever since one lost my favourite shirt ('90s Versace olive green shirt, beautiful, needed a couple repairs), so I had better learn to sew! Yes, even SLP doesn't seem to go down to a 23"-24" waist even though I'm pretty sure their runway models have that kind of waist! Any recommendations for Japanese brands? I only really know CDG, Issey Miyake, and Uniqlo.

I'll see what Kiya has to say. Does he reply to PMs?

Sorry, no helpful rec's. I was just looking at Blue In Green's inventory for something else and saw that even their women's cuts don't have waists smaller than 25 or 26 inches.

Not sure if Kiya responds to PM. Can't hurt to try, obviously. He responds to questions in the affiliate thread, but obviously that's focused on their own offerings. Your instinct of a PM seems like a solid place to start.

Hi, any suggestions for some jeans that have a similar fit to petit standards? Low rise, slim etc.

Petit standards fit me better than any other jeans I've ever worn, but I'd like to try something with a bit heavier denim maybe. I tried Somét 008's, but I thought the pockets looked kinda weird. Appreciate any help, thanks.
