Any opinions in what brand? Thinking PBJ, Kapital, Momotaro, or Samurai.

Want something unique, so I'm leaning towards:

Thoughts?

They are some awesome looking jeans man! I've got a soft spot for PBJ since visiting their store in Tokyo. Pretty awesome little shop! I have a pair of samurai 003jp and a pair of PBJ XX-18oz-015. I find myself wearing the PBJ the most. Although they are an 18oz denim they are super soft.

I've tried a pair on Momotaro 705sp and really liked those also, but decided on the samurai's on the day. You won't be disappointed with any of the brands you mentioned. I personally haven't handled Kapital jeans so can't give any input sorry.

Thus far, I've made the following recommendations:

- LVC 1947s
- Rogue Territory Stantons
- Left Field Greasers
- Tellason Ankaras
- 3Sixteen SLs

Any other suggestions, ideally < $200 (I don't think he's gonna shell out for Samurai 510s or Iron Heart 634s)? N&F straight guys seem like an obvious choice, but I feel like the options above are all a little nicer. United Stock Dry Goods doesn't make anything with a wider leg opening, right?

I would go with the stantons or 3sixteens. Blue Owls site has the cuff measurements listed at 8.25" for both for a 34 waist. 9" is bordering on bell bottoms IMO. If he's dead set on such a wide cuff you may be wasting your time

I'm searching for my first pair of quality raws and cuff sizing is def a main concern for me, I'm used to cheap Levis 511 but the thing I hate about them is the wide leg opening (14.5 full) I have to either leave them stacked and unappealing or pinroll them with my sneakers. I plan on wearing my raws with my Red Wings mostly so I would like to have a nice sized cuff that I can keep on them but looking at all these measurements for pairs even 7.5 inches seems pretty wide to me which would be 15 inches full and bigger than my 511's. Not sure if them being Raw has any effect on the shape or stretching of the leg bottom but for someone who is 6'3 185-190 athletic build and fond of the slimmer tapered cuts what kind of cuff length should I be looking for? It seems most people soak their pairs right after buying to shrink them down to their shapes but would they just stretch right back to their original measurements after many wears? The whole soaking/washing issue in regards to what size you should buy is confusing the hell out of me since im not familiar with this process at all lol

Buy skinny jeans if you want a narrow cuff

the waist will stretch back out, the length and cuffs, not so much. maybe take a look at some one-wash models, which won't shrink (as much).

Do you guys think that a Diesel pair of jeans is worthy for $100 (on sale) ?

How much are you willing to pay for Diesel ?

I don't like the Diesel brand, therefore, I'm not willing to spend anything on their stuff. For $100 you can do much much better than a crappy mall brand

Ha ha, so it's a personal taste problem. By the way, could you recommend several jeans brand under $100 which is far better than Diesel ?

What kind of jeans are you looking for? You can buy raw selvedge denim for under $100 from Gustin. They're US made but you have to wait 2 months to get them. Otherwise you can find them on eBay or grailed.com. Naked & Famous can be had on sale, then there's Bravestar selvage and Taylor Stitch. But TS is more than $100. Search around...there's tons of better companies out there making high quality denim.

Sure that's easy.

They're all crap.

With Naked and Famous slightly above the rest of the crap.
