Soak them first to get the shrink out. A hot soak will shrink them significantly, whereas, a cold soak will not. Then, measure your best fitting jeans and determine your inseam length. Will you cuff? Also, will you get the hem chain stitched?

I've found that ABFits.com does great work on chain stitch hemming and they're reasonably priced.

First time into a light wash. Any recommendations? Acne?

Similar to a fit like Strike Gold 2105 or Iron Heart 633S. I have bigger thighs, but still like a skinny hem [7-7.5"]

Hi everyone,new member here.

I currently live in Arizona (north phoenix)and could use some guidance in upgrading my wardrobe.

Last year I bought two pairs of 1000 mile laceup boots in brown and black, and a pair of emersons in rust.

My normal sized 32x30 jeans bunch up a little too much when worn ontop of the boot, and I'm not really a cuff guy.

Basically I'm looking for a place to go and try on different brands of raw denim,is that even possible in phoenix?

I don't feel comfortable spending $100+ sight unseen on denim that might not fit me right.

btw.my true measurements 32.5"waist 30"inseam,to wear ontop of boots I may alter the inseam to 29...maybe 28.

I'm 5''11 160lb ,athletic build,slim fit tapered jean style.

Thanks.

I'm looking for a pair of jeans that will work well being dressed up i.e. with a shirt to a bar, but still want something high quality, preferably selvage and japanese denim, and plain pockets and sick fading. Should be somewhat tapered, but enough room in the thighs for comfort without a vintage cut.

I can't wear brands like SLP or DH or even APC new standards because the thighs are too slim, and if i size up, the waist is too big. Evisu 2000 fit me perfectly though.

These are how Evisu 2000 fits on me, anything close to that fit? How would you describe the fit? slim? Relaxed? it has a moderate taper which I like.

What pair of jeans are most similar to APC Petit Standards? N&F skinny guys?

AriGold I just got an email from Tellason offering free shipping both ways and encouraging buyers to order as many pair as they'd like, try them on and only buy the ones that fit right.

whats up guys? looking for insight... personally I've always been more fan of stretch washed denim that is ripped.. SLP seems to be heavily going on raw distressed, has its pros and cons.. anyways, anybody ever soaked/washed the distressed raw's? or any SLP raws?

i never wash my denim (dry clean only) but I've read/heard raw fits best when soaked or washed....? any two cent?? thanks!

Hello, I have a question.

I own a pair of diors 17.5 and 19cm in sz 31...the 19cm fits me much better while 17.5 cm is borderline small. They have 98% CO and 2% EA

Now I'm about to order a 100% cotton pre washed jeans, its 18.5 cm straight/slim cut...I was wondering if I should order it at sz 31 since the dior 19cm fits me perfectly. Or go with sz 32? which is probably 19.5cm with the size up.

I'm not quite familiar with the 100% CO jeans because all my jeans lately have been 98% CO + 2% EA...any experts care to explain? I'm hoping if I order the 32, it won't stretch much at all...if it does stretch a bit than I should order sz 31?

100% Cotton stretches too. Go ahead with the W31 18,5 if you look for a slim fit, wear them around home for about 2 days and they'll stretch to your ideal waist size. But i think that leg opening is independant of waist size, so those in sz 32 will be 18.5 aswell.

I was looking at Uniqlo’s stretch selvedge jeans (here and here ).  I have never owned selvedge or raw denim before, and I was wondering if these jeans are raw.  I don’t mind my jeans fading, but I don’t want to have to wash them in a tub and I don’t want the color to bleed onto stuff it touches.  Does anyone have experience with Uniqlo’s selvedge denim and could answer my questions?  Thanks.

This is frustrating,I'm going with entry level denim, either UB101 or N&F but none of the Nordstrom's in AZ carry them instore.

I just want to try them on first...

Thank you, I'm fairly confident the 31 will fit me perfectly.
