What is the weight of Uniqlo denim?

Only ones ive seen that are decent are the blue owl momota4o stealth warriors that r slim tapered and 18ounces. What other brands should I look at?

3sixteen and Rogue Territory would be my vote. Both had good size charts on their sites.

Hello everyone,

I've been wearing a pair of APC Petit Standards for a couple of years now. They always looked good, although it was a while before the pockets were of any use - they were too tight! I like the clean, slim fit. I'm a thin guy so it isn't too tight on me - although I really don't want super-skinny jeans.

Anyway I'm thinking about getting a new pair of jeans. I wish I could get a pair with a higher waist. Keeping my shirt tucked in is such a pain in the ass with these jeans. I live in Japan. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks. smile.gif

Hello all,

Just joined the forums and I am really glad I found them.

I bought a new pair of black wash jeans from Gap (see image below, copyrighted by Gap) and was wondering what would you guys recommend to wear them with? My initial thought was to wear them for when I go to the office for a business casual look, however, I don't know what kind of shirts, blazers, jumpers etc. to wear them with (style and colour wise).

What do you recommend?

Thank you very much in advance

Iron Heart 555-01 and 02 are not baggy in the slightest, they are relatively slim jeans, I have both and they are quite snug. the 301 Iron Hearts are also slim, which I have as well.

I'm looking to buy a new pair of skinny or slim black jeans. For a couple of years I wore only skinny jeans which ended up being very tight as I have quite big thighs, which I liked (even if it did look odd to other people). I used to get jeans from topman but I'm not sure what the quality of jean from there is, I just bought them because I thought they looked cool. As for a couple of years after that, I didn't care too much about what I wore, I am starting a clean slate, so consider this my first pair of jeans. I want a good fitting jean, not too tight, but not baggy (that just looks messy to me sometimes). Anyway, these are some jeans I have found:

(From what I can see, APC is flagged as a first time jean, however the price is too much for me.)

A poster told me about the uniqlo jeans, however I'm not too sure about the style. The uniqlo jeans are cheap, so are the H and M ones.I plan on wearing the jeans with things like a plain crew neck t shirt+open denim shirt over it, or just the t shirt and denim shirt alone. Which would be the most sensible choice? Also, I know this is a jean thread but, what kind of shoe would go well with this style of jean? I was thinking black desert boots or all black low top vans. Thanks.

Looking for a recommendation for denim. Currently wearing APC NS, but would prefer something with a slightly higher rise. Must be raw and minimalist in design.

I'm looking at 3sixteen 30BSP, but would like to hear other (cheaper) options.

i bought a pair of Nudie Thinn Finn's Summer Sky a few months ago they arent raw or selvedge. How do i wash them they are starting to stink, and the prewashed model is already really light so idont think they're going to fade. im really noob at this so any help would be appreciated.

For starter selvedge Uniqlo can't be beat. I own 4 pairs and I view them as my beater selvedge. I have the regular fit and find them suitable and 'in-between' when it comes to how they look. That is, not too baggy or too tight. If you're new to selvedge jeans then Uniqlo might be a good starting point. You can then use your measurements to buy better selvedge in the future.
