Also, I've been wanting to get a cement-colored jean for a while- but I'm 6'6. The closest I can find is
http://us.levi.com/product/index.jsp?productId=29038796&f=SizeGeneral%2FSQ000004840QS36W+X+36L&fbc=1&lmdn=Size&fbn=null%7C36W+X+36L&
But it has like ~~6% Polyester, 2% Elastane.

The last time I bought a pair of jeans with elastic (2% Spandex Gap jeans) they bulked out like two sizes when I wore them. How much would 8% go?

The 6% polyester won't make them stretch! just the 2% Lycra, so you don't need to worry.

My purple face are 5% stretch but they always shrink back when washed, although my Naked and a Famous just seem to get bigger with washing unfortunately...

Hope this helps:)

Hey, I just bought some Acne Max Cashes in 29x32 and they fit me great and look great! Only problem is, the crotch is tight and I feel like my D is being squished and it's pretty uncomfortable. It's tolerable but far from pleasant. I'm not super well endowed or anything. Will they stretch in the crotch?

^ probably gonna need some pix to really address that correctly.

Acne are suppose to be tight fitting jeans, if you've gotten them, you must know how the brand should fit,, are they 100% cotton? if so i dont think they will stretch in that area. if they have some 5% elastine, they will fit better with more wear..

It's great that you found some jeans that fit you but I'm really sorry that you're being crushed uncomfortablebly!!

Sadly, to the best of my knowledge Acne jeans are 100% cotton and quite stiff, so unless yours have stretch they will stretch out a bit over time but shrink in again after washing..

Is there any chance you could change them for a size bigger..

You would be much more comfortable in the long run, especially as Acne jeans tend to be modelled on Levi 501s and pretty high waisted which will exacerbate the problem..

If I were you I would size up for your health as well as your comfort..

Hope this helps!smile.gif

They're 2% elastane so they should stretch a bit yeah?

Gents, hoping a denim head can help me out, cross post from the thrift thread.  I'm assuming I'm holding to some Levi's sample jeans, but does the signature ring a bell?  Let me know if any more details will help.

Thanks in advance, cross post is here- LEVI'S

can a pair of 9 oz jeans stack properly? I'm just afraid that due to their thinness they will just billow forever.

i dont see why not, unless they're very long. just make sure you wear the right kicks with your jeans,

Wow, so after having put it off for forever, I actually chanced upon a classmate who's all into denim and stuff in one of my classes and I think he might be interested in a pair of Flat Heads I bought a long time ago:

http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68&products_id=338

I have the Self Edge collab - SE05BSP - and bought it 3.5 years ago for $355 (including tax). They retail for $370 now (so after tax it's a little over $400). I never ended up wearing them (except once) because they're a size too big (should've done more research before buying them shog[1].gif ).

Anyway, what's a reasonable selling price? I was thinking of giving them away for $180 (maybe even $160 eek.gif ).

Is that too much of a hit to take on my part? I try to be a nice guy with these types of things (and the jeans are years old, anyway; I've ever only worn them once briefly). Or is that what they're pretty much worth given the number of years (they've been soaked) they've been sitting?
