that can happen with elastane when its elasticity wears out and it just becomes stretched. also depends on how tight your jeans are bc with more tension from your legs will cause it to stretch more.

Has anyone ever heard of a Japanese denim company called ninny? I found a pair today, sort of weird detailing
They're selvedge, have a white leather patch tag with nothing on it, red.enamel buttons and green and yellow pockets. I can take some pictures later if that helps.

Not personally a fan.

I'd go with Self Edge for LA denim.

I stumbled across their new store in Carmel. I wasn't impressed with their shirting and their denim looks run of the mill.

So this will eventually happen to all elastane denim? Its just a matter of time and wear? Also now i have another question! So lets say the elastane stretches the thighs and knee like 2 inches ( and the elastane wears out ) Could i then get the thighs tailored to a skinnier fit and they would stretch as much? Thanks for the answer btw guys!

Looking for dark black jeans with fit as close to APC Petite New Standard as possible. No budget.

Hey everyone, I stopped by Take 5 while on vacation in Hong Kong and got some PBJ 007 raws. In the past, I've only gotten sanforized denim, so I have a quick question about soaking these. Is there any chance that soaking them will stain the bathtub? I'll be traveling for a few weeks still and don't want to stain a hotel bathtub. Thanks for any help!

i'm not sure if this is true for all elastane denim. don't have too much experience with them but there might be some brands that use elastane that doesn't stretch out as fast? not sure. in the event that it's all stretched out, you could technically get them tailored back but sounds like at that point, you might just need to buy new pants.

indigo will definitely come out onto the tub so you'll have to do some scrubbing afterwards to get it out. you could alternatively soak them in a bucket?

Supposedly doing it in a bucket is better as there is less water to dissolve the indigo.

Thanks for the help! I thought they had to be laid flat when soaking. I'll go the bucket route to avoid having to scrub the tub at all.

Imperial Dukes

Any other companies that do a comparative cut and denim?

What brands are there that make sizes for smaller people?

I'm like 5'8, ~125 lbs. and I'm finding that a lot of the brands I'm reading about (N&F, 3Sixteen, etc.) don't make jeans in sizes small enough to fit well on me.

I wear a 27 in APC PS for reference if that matters.

Is my only option to just gain weight or something? eek.gif
