What about Japan Blue x Momotaro Skinny Straight 0200SP? They are very narrow at the leg opening, and they also cost $200.

Preferable below $300.
rogue territory just released a couple models of their supply denim jacket that are around $200. Tellason also has a few in that range too. Rising Sun just released a type II jacket for $330.

After wearing the same RRLs for a couple of years, it's time to get some new denim... Two questions:

1) I wear suits during the day and chinos sometimes, so I will be wearing jeans at night and on weekends. Given this wear pattern, it doesn't really make sense to go for heavier weight raw brands like Iron Heart. Samurai, etc? APCs, Jean Shop, RRL, Naked and Famus, Etc are enough?

2) When exactly should I hem a raw pair? Every pair of Jeans I buy is gonna require a hem, and I am not sure i want to wait six months to hem a new pair

I fit well in Nudie's "Grim Tim" and also Naked & Famous "Skinny Guy". Does anyone know if Tellason's "Ladbooke Grove: Slim Tapered" is the same fit? Or is it more like 'weird guy'?

I'm trying to get some unbleached/undyed, like this

What jeans are most similar to the APC Petit Standard? (in cut)

Dumb question, but how are you supposed to cuff your raw denim?

I'm only 5'8, and am trying to wear something with a ~34" inseam (APC PS).

Should I make a big cuff and then fold that cuff in half, or should I cuff up a little at a time and end up with like 5 or 6 layers of cuffing?

With the latter, I noticed that the cuff started bulging noticeably, so I should go with the former, right?

(And no, I don't like hemming.)

I'm also 5' 8" and my N&Fs have a 36" inseam I believe. I roll it up once (so the bottom of the pants leg is now up, if you know what I mean), which makes it about 1.5" shorter. Then the rest gets sucked up in the stacking, so it is all okay. I think with the 34" inseam you will be alright if you do that.

Depends on what you're looking for in a jean. I don't think your wear pattern really dictates what brand or weight you should go with. All these brands will require some break in time. It just depends on what kind of jean you want. As for hemming, if you're getting a sanforized pair, I would just hem them when you get them and maybe account for half an inch of shrink if you decide to hot water soak them later

I'm new to the whole jean thing. I have done some research and am stuck on 3sixteen, rag and bone, and rogue territory. I like slim tapered leg. Any opinions appreciated. Or any other brands I'm missing in that price range roughly $200. Thanks.

Don't mean to noob up the forum but I'm also new to the quality jean thing, have decided to upgrade wardrobe and will be starting with new jeans. Unfortunately due to location it's hard for me to try on much, and most of these brands aren't even available locally so I will be ordering online.

I'm 5'7" and 135lbs, so quite slim, however I don't really like the uber skinny pants look cause it just makes me look like I have chicken legs. At the same time I don't want to fork out too much money on jeans that are big/baggy and look like crap.

The first option is Unbranded201 tapered fit Indigo, and the second is N&F weird guys indigo selfedge. These seem to be the best value for money/all round versatile choices I've come across.

I'm worried that the weird guys are more for bigger guys and instead I should go with slimguy?

The waist size on old jeans that fit alright is 30-31", thigh 10-11" and knee/opening in the region of 7-8", I was thinking of the getting

-30s in UB201s, soak when they arrive and hope they shrink a touch

-28s in the N&F

Does anyone have experience with these sizes/is a similar size to me and has an opinion? Is there a Levis equivalent I could try on locally?

If you dont want slim or too big get a 29 in skinny guy. Ive never owned slimguy but i hear its baggy.

With skinny guy though the rise is low.

I used to wear 7 jeans, but I really don't like three things about them...

1. They don't come in 32x30. Having to get every pair of 32 tailored is time and money consuming. I don't like rolling up the jeans either.
2. The raw denim shrink a lot.
3. There are not enough belt keepers.

Any recommendations for jeans (formal, plain, dark colors) that comes in 32x30, has more than 5 belt keepers, and does not shrink? Budget is ~$110/pair, new, on sale, or used.

Try levi's or something...

Really no designers make 32x30? Why do you think that is?
