No, just true to size. But, (1) I don't do SF/sufu slim and only wanted something slimmer than the RB6 with lower rise, and (2) I plan on putting some weight this F/W, thus could use an "allowance" in the waist.

1.) is it worth it to wear raw denim if it isn't super slim/tight? i like jeans to fit more like a pair of slim straight levi 514s or something similar to that, and APC ns's fit me pretty tight from the knee down and i really don't like that. i want some nice raw denim though, but i'm not sure if its worth it if im not wearing them super tight... 2.) can you recommend me a pair of raw/dry denim that fit...i guess slim striaght but still looser than say...APC ns's? more like levi 514s, earnest sewn fultons.

4 quick questions:

a) Where can I find some black skinny jeans and white skinny jeans WITHIN canada? We don't have PacSun or Hot topic here btw.

b) I bought 2 skinny jeans from PacSun when I was down in the states, is there anything skinnier than those? I heard Rufskin is really skinny.

c) Is there an actually Rufskin store in Canada? I know you can buy it online but I like to try on my jeans before I buy it.

d) My current size is 32X30 but should I buy 32X32? I'm still a teen (15) and I'm still growing taller so I can save it for later. Does it look bad if there is extra fabric that "spills" onto your shoe? In my case it's vans. but since it is skinny jeans it "piles up" right? does it look bad?

Jeans come in all sorts of fits. Don't know why you would feel limited to a particular cut.

"Nice" is an extremely subjective word that can vary the cost. Nudie Slim Jims could be 514 alternatives but so could other brands that go for much more.

Nudie Slim Jim and Straight Sven come to mind if you're looking at the APC price range. So would Crate James and rag & bone 15. I could go into further brands but they might be lost on you without doing a bit of your own research first, namely checking out the 514 thread.

whoa shit, theres a 514 thread! let me go search for it. thanks for the suggestions. price range is probably no more than $250.

I want a pair of raws to wear this winter. I have a pair of Dior MIJ 19cm right now that I am selling because they are just to slim. I plan to wear these to work everyday and need something a bit more consevative looking. I like the fit of Nudie Slim Jim, but want to try something besides Nudie. Any recomendations for a pair with a similar fit?

Hello,

I am looking for a pair of jeans with a similar cut to the Levi's 507's. Meaning, I'm looking for a cut that is slim through the thighs, low rise, slight flare to a bootcut. It's surprisingly hard to find this type of cut, especially in raw. I'm not very happy with some of the lower quality denim that Levi's uses and it's just not very high quality, imo.

I'm looking for any jeans that have the 507-type cut. Not necessarily raw denim, but anything really. I've tried a whole ton of different brands and I can't ever seem to really get the fit that I'm looking for. The next pair that I want to try is the Earnest Sewn Hutch. Anyone know how this compares to the 507?

Suggestions on other brands that carry a similar jean?

Also, anyone know where I can get some patches made of high quality denim? Preferably selvage.

I need a jean recommendation. So I was thinking of pulling the trigger on the new standards size 27, but after looking at pictures I dont like the leg opening and the taper is too much. I was thinking of going to nudie reg ralf maybe? but its got a little to much back pocket stitching going on. I like the classic look of the apc on that. So where is a in between jean for around 150 or less in around 28 size?

$150? Hmm... That's just what Crate retails for...
I can't find Crates anywhere lol, who sells them who?
The New Standard tapers too much? It's like half and inch, that pretty much looks like a straight leg.

leg opening is more of the problem with the new standards i should say. Ive thought about just sizing down rescues but apc doesnt make the rescue in a 27 do they?

I've always just used tap water. Then again, my tap water gets really, really hot.
