for the dior

why would 21 be favored over the 19 here on sf?

19 measures to be about 7.5 hem and 21 is over 8.3 inch hem.

wouldnt the 21 qualify to be within the ballpark of bootcut?

i would think the 19 tapered leg would be more desired here but it is not. just interested in this phenomenon

(especially with the dior coming in longer inseams anyways)

The 19cm is pretty damn slim up top (i.e. the knees) so maybe that's why some people prefer the 21cm. I don't really think what you said is the case though (21cm being preferred over 19cm) Either way, different cuts for different people. Its not like one is universally better than the other.

sho'nuff- The hem measurement also differs depending on the size. A pair of size 30 MiJ 19cms will probably measure about 18-18.25cm

I'm looking for a pair of raw, medium-heavy weight slim jeans with 8.25-8.5" leg opening and ~32.5" waist. I already have nudie AJ's and SS. It's very important that they be raw and at least medium weight denim.

On a completely separate note, are these the same jean, the pics make the denim look different:

aw fuck it. i'm gonna get the F380s. i'm taking kiya's advice and getting 33s (i wear 31 prewash and 32 in AJDH, though i probably could have gone w/ a 31). any input on waist? does 33 sound right? as far as length goes, i'm considering doing the chainstitch option. just trying to figure out if i actually need to do it. length is stated as 38 on SE site and my ideal inseam is 33-34. if these shrink the full 2.5 down to 35.5, is there even a point in getting them hemmed (taking into account the honeycombing)?

hi,
I really like dior jeans, but I don't know if I find some dior jeans in my size...
Im a big guy, and my jeans size 36/36.. maybe 34/34, 36/34 or something depends on jeans brand.
What do you think, there is dior jean with that size?
thanks.

Just ordered a pair of AG Teddyboy Slim Raw from the gilt groupe. Anyone else have a pair and care to share their experience with them?

Should I prewash my new jeans? If so hot or cold water.

just one more general question about dior:

i havent tried it on yet ( i dont try on jeans at stores unless i have gone in with sincere decision to purchase) but was wondering what is the popularity of the dior 21 or 19 made in japan jeans?

i see it is very nice. is the cut something very special unique?

what aspects of it make it so in demand?
anyone who owns one can make any comparison to let say any BiG brand?
thansk

They are popular because of the cuts and washes. If you want to find out if you like the fit, try them on. You're in a place where it shouldn't be too difficult to get to a stockist.
