Cuff the jeans with those shoes during the first month. Supposedly you can wash it out of some shoes but I have no experience with that. I just let my Vans get stained with the indigo since they were just plain slip ons. If I had some CPs or something I would be a bit more anal about it.

Where can I get 5ep Low Down Boot raw denim? Denimbar and revolve are out of stock, no idea where else to look.

You can put tape on the insides of the hems so that the indigo doesn't come in contact with your shoes. Otherwise, you live with it.

Oak NYC used to carry them but apparently don't any more. You could PM Mauro and see if he has plans to store more or you can search for the 5EP thread and see if Godmother has any deadstock pairs lying around.

Speaking of which, anyone seen/heard from Christine lately?

Cheap Monday has raw/selv for pretty cheap...$80 if the sfxdb discount still applies

OK I bought some Rag & Bone 15s in Indigo.

A few questions:

How's the fit?
Should I get them hemmed?
I bought 2 sizes, these are 33s which fit pretty perfectly, but if they're gonna stretch out, should I stick with 32s?

I am 195 pounds, 6'1'' with a 35/36 waist. I like straight jeans and want to find something new to try...Don't need to be super tight just something I can wear with a button down shirt tucked or untucked. I typically wear Suede bluchers, chelseas, or a variety of other in-formal dress shoes.

Any help would be appreciated. Feel free to post or send me a PM.

Thanks,

Mike

I'm trying to figure out whether I should get Kicking Mule 1950s or 2010s, considering the 1980s would likely be too slim on me. I wear a 32 in Nudie RRDS, and they're kinda between a slim and regular fit on me. 30 APC NS are pretty slim on me. I have slightly large thighs but not bodybuilder large.

Which fit should I go for? I plan on going true to size since I like my jeans comfy.

I was wondering how the 5ep LDB's compare to Regular Ralfs... through the leg and in terms of front/back rise... thanks for any help!

2010's are pricey for your first pair of jeans but if you're comfortable paying that much then go for it. APC Rescues are also an option. They are much cheaper and fit the description of the type of jeans you are looking for.

HI thanks for you answer, at denimbar the 2010 are only 141 while the Apc Rescues are 155. I think I will probly make the decision on friday because I get paid then. So far I think I think 2010 are the best for me. Im so scared to order it too because I never paid this much for anything except my basketball shoes and a suit for job interviews.

I'm not 100% positive but the KMW 2010 that is on sale at DenimBar might be the old made-in-China jeans. Still nice, but not as nice as their current made in Japan lines.

You'd probably want to check if there's a discount code for SF members as well.
