I believe it depends on where they were made and which particular version you're talking about. I know some size down one or two but you might want to ask in the Dior thread with which specific model you're looking at.

Thanks, those seem to have an 8" opening, any ideas for say a 8.5 - 9. What's a good source with various measurements?

Guess I was right about not being conservative enough.

You need to shoot us a price range. APC makes a more relaxed cut (Rescue) but you honestly have far better options out there.

Affiliates like Self Edge, Blue Owl, etc. have measurements of other brands. Once you know what you're looking for, they won't be hard to come by.

Thanks, my price range is around $250 . Would getting strech jean help improve fit? Ah yes those sites have tons of brands, a little confusing which ones to go for. I wish they had a guide.

 

For wool dress pants having tried a lot I liked HB Parkway the best, as they are trim not baggy or slim, 11" rise, 26" thigh and 8.5" leg

 

APC Rescue might work, If I get a size "32" which has a real waist of 33", how much would it strech?

You can do a bit of damage for $250. Take a look at these brands that are at the $200 mark: http://www.styleforum.net/t/157881/non-apc-sub-200-raw-selvage-denim-options/0_50

There are quite a few brands that do the "Made in the US with US denim" routine with a fit you're looking for, like Glory (on the cheaper side), Left Field, Imogene & Willie, Tellason, and it goes on if you're looking to investigate.

Two models that come to mind are Levi's (LVC) 1947 or RRL Straight Cut if you're looking for nicer denim.

Don't buy stretch fit jeans. Just don't. Aside from being crap, a crappy cut will be a crappy cut regardless of what kind of denim the jeans have.

If you decide to go the APC route (which I would put towards the bottom of the list of recommendations), you'll want to size down one or two so that the fit is initially snug, but not tight, and stretch out comfortably. If your true waist is 32", I'm not sure how a garment bigger than 32" will stretch. You need tension or pull for something to stretch.

should i soak my wings & horns raw prior to wearing? i've been wearing them for a about a month and a half now and read some stuff about soaking before wearing raw denim.

great, please link me where you've read the answer regarding their denim and soaking because i searched for like an hour and a half. doesn't say anywhere on the tags, soak prior to wearing or sanforized.

Even more abbreviated summation

Unsanforized = Should be soaked before wearing (because they are going to shrink considerably upon contact w/ water)

Sanforized = *Should be soaked before wearing. * denotes optional. (because they won't shrink dramatically either way)

Your W+H are sanforized.
