At the $100 range you can pick up N&F on sale (a few pop up to Barneys online daily) or on B&S

so I know uniqlo, B&S though I'm not familiar with.... sorry, newb here. If there's that big a difference in quality I'll just avoid wearing jeans for a month or two until I have the scratch together for a decent pair.

Does anyone have the 3sixteen Shadow denim? How is the quality of the denim? Any fade pics?

Makes sense. Thanks for the info.

I'm a skinny dude, and its really easy for straight legs to look like sails on me, and skinny's to look like girls pants.
Levi's 501s are also pretty cheap and very easy to find. The Levi's 511 cut is a decent slim-not-skinny option. 514s are straight-leg, so there's a chance you'll end up with more fabric than you want below the knee.

Also, I'm gonna be lame and bump my question - anyone out there own the Uniqlo made-in-Japan slim fit model? If so, did you go true-to-size or down one, and what do you think of the fit?

Just bought some almost new APC New Standards on eBay for $100, and there were quite a few pairs on there/Buying and Selling/Superfuture. Noticeable quality difference.

Probably similarly to other overdyes or coated. While 3six is not broken twill, the fabric used by Rogue Territory, Roy, and a few others this season will probably fade similarly.

Hey all. I'm sure Jcrew isn't the #1 choice (especially at this price point) for most of you for raw denim. However, I really like their 484 fit (roomier thighs, good taper) so I wanted to get a pair.

However, I can't decide on which to go with. Any opinions? I'm leaning towards the #2 as they aren't such deep indigo. However, I'm wondering if those might produce a better look once faded.

wow, that's so much.. i've tried the 484 and i think apc NS will be pretty similar to that fit, and would also be cheaper, and probably better quality

Hey guys, would appreciate some help.

I'm looking to step into a pair of diors. I love skinny jeans, so I'm looking to cop the 17.5/19 inch hem.

I wear a 33x34 Nudie Thin Finn which fit me quite well (a tad big in the waist but I just dropped some weight). Any suggestions on what size Diors I should be looking at (from anyone with experience with both brands)?

very tired of wearing stiff raw denim, how much will it soften up if i do a quick cold soak?
it'll probably get stiffer

And then softer...

Wearing jeans is hard work.

Need some Levis STF input

Basically, I'm wearing 44x32 in non stf 501s. I figured id buy some STF in 44x34. I went into the store yesterday, and tried on a pair of 42x32 just for kics. Thosethings were big... and actually I probably could've gone down to a 40 if I didn't plan on washing them. Is it normal for the STFs to run big like that?

Also, what are your thoughts on buying the 501stfs true to size and smply dry cleaning?

Does anyone have experience/comments for Superfine jeans? They seemed not attracting too much attention here but they look fine according to my very limited experience.
