Naked & Famous Indigos are notorious for not fading much. Or get something that is resin coated

Yes. Get the new black selvedge (not raw) MIJ APCs. You'd like the NS or PS models. You'll need to size down, since they're vanity sized and stretch. Trust me. They're cool.

Check 'em out. I prefer them to some Diors even.

I think Tripleworks was also recommended to you, no?

Otherwise, you shouldn't be getting into good denim. The great property of shitty, mass-market stuff is the tendency to be fairly colorfast.

I'm looking for a pair of raw denim—maybe a Japanese repo—that is a little more forgiving/looser than the Naked & Famous Weird Guy cut. I've had a pair for a year, and I love them, but I think I want something a little more comfortable, but still fitted. I know I can go Slim Guy, but what about other brands?

RRL, Ironheart, Strike Gold, FlatHead, RJB, SC, Samurai, 45rpm, SDA, Skull, Momotaro, and Warehouse fit that description. Maybe give us a price range or better idea of what you're looking for?

I'd say I'd want to keep them around $300 or so. I need them to accommodate big (and I mean big) thighs, which is why I've been wearing the Weird Guy cut from N&F. But still slim, obviously. I have large upper legs, but I'm not fat. If they don't taper quite as much as the Weird Guy, that's fine. Straight cut is cool too. Color-wise, indigo/deep indigo kind of colour. That help narrow it down?

What's the difference between the Nudies dry dirt indigo and others? (confused as to why it's so cheap on oipolloi)

I'd recommend ordering Triple Works from ironheart.co.uk. They have excellent customer service, and they ship to the US for free.

Sort of. There's no real way to translate "looser but fitted" because the WGs already slightly bigger thighs than most slim jeans. You might want to look at standard straight repos if that's the case like some of the brands I listed although quite a few are going to be upwards of $300. Some that are still under that would be RRL straight cut, Momotaro 0201, Eternal 811, SDA 103, or LVC 1947 if you're sticking American. I think Left Field even tends to be a little loose but tapered.

You'll probably want to check your measurements and shop around.

Think that's just the term for their organic stuff. And it's cheap because it's shit.

Is there a formal list of selvedge denim brands in price range? If not, can someone provide me a short-list of the lower cost options.
