I've read some customer feedback, that i should pick pair that is one size bigger than my normal and other feedback that says there isn't any difference.
Don't buy hugo boss jean. Buy these instead. Best pair fof sub $200 denim you'll ever wear. http://fourhorsemen.ca/shop/weird-gu...digo-selvedge/

I don't know exactly what model they are....as far as LVC stuff goes, In the 505, I am only aware of the '67 - but all of the photos I have seen of them have exposed selvedge. The Jeans I have appear to be selvedge, but have an odd stitching on the outseam which hides the edge. I have contacted the person I received them from to see if they have been altered but have not received a response. I don't think anything has been done to them b/c they appear unworn and still had store tag inside. What do you guys think? What model is this? Is this selvedge outseam odd?

+ 1. I have the 67' 505. Your pair has had the outseams and hems fiddled with big-time... When sized appropriately, the 505 shouldn't be slim fitting - more a narrow straight fit (slight tapering below the knees.) The outseam on my one looks like this:

yeah pretty obvious now. i really like the way they fit w/ the alteration. Will have to post fit pics when I get a chance

well......these fit pics seem to make the alterations look a bit odd. Maybe some diaper ass going on!. Gonna give these a try, as I would imagine they would be a difficult flip on B&S. At least I'll post these photos for anyone interested in having any denim altered.

What the hell did he do to the hems? Why is there blue stitching inside the cuff but gold on the outside???

Ha! Didn't even notice that! Well....I certainly have a one of a kind. To be honest I do like em

I'm a size 36 in jeans, so if I order apc's should I buy size 34 since they stretch?

Yes.

How tight will they be then? Because I've tried some size 34 jeans on and I could barely move because they were so tight. Thinking of ordering petit standard jeans, will I even be able to make them stretch if I can't wear them properly?

Just making sure since I don't want to waste any money and I'm a newbie when it comes to jeans.

If it's Petite>New>Rescue in terms of skinny to regular, why are you going with Petites if you're worried about them being tight?

sizing down depends on the certain cuts and the way you want it to fit, i'd recommend sizing 1 down for the ps

Well I'm looking for more of a slim fit than a skinny fit, so what model should I go with & how much should I size down? Any other jeans suggestions are welcome too, I'm just buying apc's because everybody's saying they're awesome.

"Everybody" goes the new standard sized down 2 route. The fit is fairly universal and great, but there isn't much after that. When APC first started gaining popularity, there was little else around to compete with in terms of fit and bang-for-buck. People buy APC for fit alone but at the under $200 range I put a lot of other brands ahead of them because I personally find them to be the 1964 Volkswagen Bug of denim: stripped down to get you from point A to B.

Friends, can you recommend a slim (not skinny) fit dark wash/indigo non fade jean around 15oz weight?
thanks

Any knock against Bullhead jeans from Pac Sun? Dillon skinny, in particular.
