If you can't manage a shrinking session, be it in a bath, washing machine, or even a sink, go with the o/w's. The raws would only stay reliable if you were to not wet then for their entire lifespan.

If you're not in a position to soak them yourself, you should get the one-wash. I wouldn't recommend getting the raws and then just wearing them. With PBJ's unsanforized (shrink-to-fit) denim, when you eventually wash them, they'll shrink significantly, and your fades will move out of place from where they should be. And if you never wash, you'll shorten the lifespan of the jeans significantly. On PBJs, the starched, slubby denim will tear apart the all-cotton stitching pretty fast, especially if you wear the jeans hard.

So last week i noticed some small holes appear in my APC PS that I've put around 2 months of effective wear on. Never soaked or washed, haven't worn 'em since the holes started to appear, never noticed anything wrong until the first hole appeared (the large hole in the 3rd pic). Decideded to post here to see what your guys opinions were on what might of caused this and what I should do?

Kinda wish there were more jeans made with super-slubby denim and stitched with poly-core threads. Samurai and PBJ both use 100% cotton threads, right?

That is correct. There aren't enough slubby denim jeans out there that use poly or poly-core stitching, IMO. One you could look at, if you haven't already, is the 18 oz. stuff that they use on Iron Heart's 666 model. It's not as slubby as PBJ, Oni, Strike Gold, or Samurai denim, but it's the slubbiest denim I can think of that also has poly-core stitching.

I've never seen anything like that in my life. That looks awful. Do you have bugs eating away at your denimz? Seriously, that does not look right at all.

So I have a pair of ande whall cougars. I have had them for a while now and have them cuffed since I believe Ande has a standard inseam of 36 or 38(At least when I got them). Anyways even after the cuffing they are an inch or so too long. I want to get them hemmed but the only problem is that I'm worried that the crease line where I cuff them will make it look odd. There is also a little bit of dirt collection there. Is it fine if I just wipe them a bit with a wet rag and iron out the crease if I get them hemmed? Oh and I have a pair of nudies I have been wearing like 75% of the time for the past 2 years. Finally they are falling apart at the knees There are loose threads and it looks like some holes will develop with some more wear. Any fix to this?

Looks like battery acid. Any chance that is it? Are you a little sloppy in Chemistry lab lately?

Can anyone point me in a thread that will show ways of soaking? I'm currently on a college campus in hk, only have access to sinks and washing machines atm.

I bought a pair of momotaro x NF skinnyguy's two months ago, they fit great at first but have loosened up quite a bit since then, would soaking the jeans regularly like once to twice a week, in a bath w/ only hot water shrink them back to the original fit? I don't want to lose too much indigo and end up with a dad jean wash, some fade character would be nice.

Hey guys,

I'm a new one in the forum but think I found just the place to hang out! I'm looking for a couple new pairs of jeans. I already have several and tend to stick to the Relaxed Fit 7's in waist size 34. I also really like the True Religion "Ricky" fit. Today I'm looking for more of a straight leg design to wear with my new black sperry's. They are all black with the exception of the white stitching. I have one pair of jeans that works well with them and they are Rock Revival Straight Leg. These are by far the best fitting jeans I have when it comes to a narrower leg opening which I would want for the Sperry's. I wear a size 34 in these but I'm looking for something in an indigo or maybe black tint with more of a basic design and regular back pockets, not the flap type that Rock Revival is known for. Can some provide me a recommendation?

Thanks!

That is far from normal. I have never seen that before. Do you have rats?

I'd say take that crap back to wherever you bought it and get yourself a refund or exchange. Absolutely no reason denim should do that after two months.
