If you care about that stuff, well, you sound you belong on SF. If you don't care about that stuff, risk using your tailor.

As to your fit, the top block on those looks way too large, yes, including the waist, and yet is somehow riding all up your ass at the same time. though you don't look like you have the buttons actually buttoned up, i doubt that changes much. the legs looks great, btw, except for the goofy standing-on-the-hems bit. You are, indeed, very, very skinny.

I'd say sell 'em on B&S and get something else.

With any wear, it's going to stretch back out. Think you have to keep in mind with PBJ is that if you start worrying about sizing down to account for the waist, what you won't account for is how slim it fits through the legs. I definitely regret sizing down on mine even though the waist is loose.

Anyone care to shed some light. I still have time to go down to a size 29 or up to a 31 if need be, but it'd have to be done today before they hem it.

PBJs can stretch a lot. I bought the one wash for this model, and it came really shrunken. My true waist is 35", and I bought a 32 tagged for these. The waist was about 32"- 32.5" when I got these, but it stretched out to 34.5". They're fine now, but they were painful to get into at first.

It's entirely conceivable to me that the waist on a 31 could stretch to a 34.
