I can't choose between Studio D' Artisan 103, Eternal 811 or Warehouse 660?? Which one fades better?

I'm not that familiar with Warehouse, but I think the SD-103 will fade slower than the Eternal 811.

What do you mean by 'better'?
Which SDA 103 are you talking about?
Each fades differently!

Would love some advice/insight on Naked & Famous jeans as well as Jeans Shop Jeans as I've never purchased them before. I own APC's, Armani, and Dior's. I have three questions:

Where would the quality of N&F and Jeans Shop fall amongst those brands I'm more familiar with?

Additionally is there any sizing/stretching/durability peculiarities I should be familiar with?

Is their value reflected in their price?

Jean Shop > N&F, however, N&F is more about having a variety of fabrics and cuts than JS. You can search Jean Shop and N&F on here. There are dedicated threads regarding sizing and general opinions.

Alright, sorry. Don't want to go into specifics about why I couldn't keep my promise (bad story), but I finally got the pics: http://www.selfedge.com/shop/images/se05bsp_01.jpg http://www.selfedge.com/shop/images/se05bsp_01_01.jpg http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.p...roducts_id=338 How the same pair looks on me (got a W: 28, L: 39; still need to hem it, I know): http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...i/DSCN2020.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...i/DSCN2021.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...i/DSCN2022.jpg And yes, that's after a soak. The waist is already a little too tight, but the legs are just not as tight as I'd hoped. I think it's 'cause my legs are too skinny (5'8~9", 125 lbs; yes, I know my gut's hangin' out - I just ate). I'm planning to soak again, with me in them so that the waist doesn't get smaller, but I really don't know how much more shrink they have in them, sigh. Anyway, do I wear them inside out, or as I normally would when I wear them in the tub? Also, is there any way to get them to shrink dramatically while still keeping the waist and crotch the same size? EDIT: Oops, always assuming everybody's American: 174 cm, 56.7 kg

Doubt it'll matter much now that you've soaked them. Sitting in them won't stop them from shrinking any less, soaking again won't shrink anything dramatically. TBH, they don't look tight in the waist/crotch at all. See how much extra fabric there is in the top block compared to Sid's fit? They don't even look like the same model. I wondering if you didn't go far down enough because they look skin tight on Sid.

Actually, they really do ride up, contrary to how the pic looks, and I can definitely feel it. Or is that different than what you were referring to? And I didn't size down further because otherwise, the waist would be too small. I'm normally a 29W in Levi's and other stuff. Are people supposed to go down dramatically and then somehow get the waist lengthened so that they can actually button it? Maybe my hips aren't proportional to the slimness of my legs? EDIT: Oh wow, a 28W, 39L is the smallest that pair comes in, anyway (at least, from Self Edge). I couldn't size down even if I wanted to.

Then it's just the wrong cut. If you're looking for the kind of fit that Sid has going on, you might want to look into other companies. 3sixteen+ has slimmer thighs, for example

Oh wait, couldn't I just go to a tailor to get a skinnier fit?

Or will that ruin the jeans somehow?

Don't.

Why not?

After my first soak, my new Flat Head S5001 have a big streak down the whole right thigh that's noticeably lighter than the rest of the jeans (you can see it from several feet away) and 2 spots near the crotch that are the same sort of thing, but roundish. Is this some kind of defect in the dyeing? The two by the crotch aren't really noticeable when I'm wearing them because my shirt is around there but the one on the thigh is bad enough that a friend asked if I spilled something on them. I've had 2 other pairs of Flat Heads that didn't look anything like these after the first soak so I'm a little worried

Do you dump chocolate on a plate of huevos rancheros because you really want dessert or do you order a slice of chocolate cake? You don't buy something with the idea that you're going to heavily alter it so that it comes out like what you should have bought the first time around.
