+1. Also there is that new Artisan Denim (see affiliate thread), which looks pretty skinny. Inseam might be too short for you. Nudie has some pretty skinny stuff too.

these are my new nudie grim tim DDO, i wear a 28 in apc and decided to get a 28 in these also. Ive been wearing them now for about 10 hours and they are still very tight. I can button them but the crotch is a little uncomfortable. Will they loosen up enough or should i sell them on?

Get a better picture... you can't see anything in this one.

come on, im sure it shows enough for how tight they are? basically the crotch is hurting a bit squeezing everything in there not too comfortable...will they stretch out in that area? they fit fine on the waist. Do they continue to stretch after the first day of wear or is that pretty much as loose as they get?

Thinking about a pair of Acne Mic Rigids. Are they vanity sized or TTS? I'm a 29 in Levis, Rogue Territory, KMW, and a 30 in SPURR.

So I'm looking to buy a pair of Naked & Famous Skinny Guy denim in Broken Twill (or Indigo, as it looks) and was wondering if it fits true to size or if I should size down. My measured waist size is 30, but I somewhat straddle the border between a 29 or 30 in Levi's 511s.

I ultimately want the jean to fit snugly near the middle of its lifetime, so should I shoot for a 28?

And apologies in advance for my not wading through the huge N&F denim thread.

Skinny Guy cut runs a little bit small, from my experience. I would go TTS on that one.

I don't have much experience with Nudies, but I can say that jeans typically do not stretch to their maximum after only 1 day of wear. Typically, it takes between 20-30 wears before a jean is stretched out to its maximum.

I am a size 30 in N&F's Weird Guy. Does anyone know what APC has the closest cut to the Weird Guys and what size I'd have to buy in those for a good fit? The actual wasit that fits me comfortably is 16.5 - 16.75. So what size in APC would I be? (I would essentially like it to end up stretching to 16.75)

The problem is, most of the images I've seen with people wearing Skinny Guys makes the jean look a little bit looser than I'd like in the thigh area. But from what the people say, and like you say, it's fine in the waist area. I'd like to have a great thigh and waist area. It does stretch a bit anyways, right? By TTS, do they mean the measuring tape pulled as far as measurement would allow on your waist, or a loose fit? Edit: I wouldn't mind, hell I might even like it if it fits a bit tighter than this, granted this guy is wearing true to size: http://www.nakedandfamousdenim.com/b...lution-1-year/

My experience with Acne Mic's is that they are TTS, this includes the raw denim. Their raw denim jeans were a little large but shrink to TTS with one wash even though they are sanforized.

Mine are a little loose in the waist but sized down one they were too tight in the thighs. Overall I'm very happy with their Mic jeans, good cut and quailty that can be had at a reasonable price. I also perfer zip fly so they suit me well.

I want to get my lady friend a pair of nicer jeans. She usually gets boot cut and I think a straight or slim straight would be better all around. She's taller at 5'11" and has wider hips. I'll get her measurements and compare her current jeans to figure out exactly when buying, but what brands/models should i look at for her? Thanks!

I'm not being a dick; I'm serious, you can't even tell where the seat of your jeans end, the picture is that dark. It could be my monitor, but I doubt it. I'd be glad to give you an opinion if you posted a better picture.

If you like that TTS fit in the picture, I would buy TTS if I were you. N&F will stretch pretty good, but I can tell you that I tried sizing down one and couldn't even get them buttoned up all the way.
