kind of leaning toward the 301s because the cut is slimmer
anyone have experiences/sizing advice for either of these?
also does anyone know how iron hearts stretch? like do they actually stretch over an inch in the waist?

Cross post.

Got myself some Dior MIJ (as advised earlier), 17cm I believe. From what I understand, they stretch a lot and it is adviced to size down twice for a slimmer fit post-stretch. Well this is a 28, the smallest they had. Not sure if it is something to worry about they fit just right, maybe a bit tighter than what I am used to but not as bad as I expected. The waist is even a size big.

Opinions? Return and try to get a size 27 or stick with it?

Thanks for your help. Would you know where I could find a reliable sizing chart for the new standard to determine my size? I am normally 30 or 31 depending on the brand, So my APC shold be 28 or 29, but How to make sure of this

best regards

I am normally a 34 and sometimes fit into 33. I bought APC NS in 32 and they fit snug. I felt if I sized down three they would be way too uncomfortable, espcially in the thighs. I ended up returning the jeans because at 14" the rear rise was too short for me.

You can always purchase the jeans from somewhere like Tobi that allows you tom return them for refund if you are not happy. You can even order two sizes and return one or both.

If I were you I would get the 29, unless you are skinny and have skinny thighs then I would consider a 28.

certain models will stretch differently. If you look on the self edge website, they are pretty descriptive about what kind of stretching/shrinking you are likely to experience.

Does anyone have any experience with the 3Sixteen+ jeans at Selfedge?

I am in the market for some new jeans after loosing almost 20lbs this summer. Before I wore a 29 waist in a 30 length, but those pants are now falling off my waist without significant help from a belt which causes ripples which are awfully uncomfortable. As such, I am in search of a jean that is available in a 27 or 28 waist. Sure, easy you say. I live a very active lifestyle and have rather large thighs and a bubble butt. So every 28 I have tried on either becomes too tight around my thighs when I bend my leg, restricting my leg movement, or if the thigh is roomy enough, the waist flairs out in the back leaving a 1-1.5" gap between the pants and my body. I am not opposed to wearing a belt, (I often do), but I am opposed to wearing a belt to mask an ill fitting pant. I need to be able to ride my bike and play pickup games in these jeans so they cannot restrict my leg movement.

I live in central pennsylvania and am on a budget of $100/pair as I need to replace my entire wardrobe. (I currently only have a few shorts and a few pairs of dress pants that fit me)

Brands I have tried so far:
Aeropostale
American Eagle
Gap
Express
Calvin Klein
Nautica
Lee
Levi
Holister
Hilfiger
Polo Ralph Lauren
Izod
Every brand at Kohls, Target, Sears, Bonton, Boscovs

Of these I have tried on every style and every size ranging from a 27-29 and all of them have at least one of the problems I mentioned above.

I am moving back to school in 5 days and have no jeans, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you can button up without having to muscle them a bit, I think you should size down one if possible. You can always break in jeans at home if they're too tight, which is a better option for keeping the fit slim IMO. The 17cm was a nice selection. Are you planning on doing a chain-stitch hem? I think a lot of people get carried away with stacking on Diors. It would be better to go with a similar inseam that you're used to or maybe up to 1.5" longer to accomidate the narrow calves. It just looks cleaner and creates a better interface with the shoes IMO. end of rambling/

I do. Picked up the 10BSP in 30 (I'm generally 31, 29 in APC NS) and they are absolutely the most perfect jeans I've ever owned. Perfect, lovely details in lush, gorgeous denim.

not a lot of talk about Our Legacy in this thread (or so it seemed to me), but wanted to see if there's anyone in here that has this pair http://www.blackbirdballard.com/Our_...ack_16449.html waiting to hear back from Blackbird about the measurements but they look like a slim straight fit, maybe a slight taper to them. anyone with better experience with them?
