In light of the numerous threads regarding gradutate school, specifically law school (some of you probobly remember my rants) I figured that I would offer up some positive news.

Despite my seemingly horrific grammar when posting on message boards I was just informed that I have been selected for publication in the Penn State Environmental Law Review. My first year grades were not very good, no moot court, no journal etc. That said, as of now I am one of a very few students (well recently graduated at this point) to have their work published. As a scholar this is the pinnacle of my career to this point and shows that with actual hard-work you can accomplish what you set out to do with the requisite amount of effort. This means so much more to me than any BigLaw bonus...that said, a publication at this stage of my career should help out the ol' resume.

Congrats my friend. I'm still aiming for a paper in nature medicine or science someday. Research is like trench warfare, mostly waiting and little activity, at least that's the case with physical science.
