I was doing some long overdue rounds of the outlets and current clearance sales earlier today and saw a Ralph Lauren Purple Label black linen suit. I put it on hold and would be willing to go back and get it immediately if anyone is seriously interested. Price shipped anywhere in the US would be $775 ($800 shipped everywhere else).
Some quick details (sorry no pictures); black 100% linen with subtle herringbone weave, double-breasted coat is 6-1 with a hacking jacket type belt in the back, sleeves are unfinished (RLPL button pouch contains all buttons and spares in breast pocket), size is 38 Regular, pleated pants had a small 32R tag. I'm pretty sure the sleeve tag said "Jared", as in the model name. Clearly RLPL made by Saint Andrews (all original tags attached). Definitely a special suit for special occasions as I doubt anyone here would wear it more than once or twice a month. It was beautiful nonetheless. Too bad it wasn't my size. . .
