Centenario is a wonderful tasting blanco tequila (they call it their plata) and maybe one of the best values in premium tequila. I also like their reposado and anjeo.

for a high end tequila try the Penca Azul reposado, its a sipping tequila and very good, though expensive

Just skimmed the responses but I would add a bottle of Brokers gin. Its been a favourite of mine for 5 years and whenever I serve people have always seemed to enjoy it more than their usual.

Great advice has been given. My only contribution would be to reaffirm the rum stance: one light, one dark.

IMO, excellent choices here are Gosling's Dark and Appleton Estate gold rum.
