UNIQLO makes some decent wide flared sweats for relatively cheap. You can also get some Lanvins sweat too should you want to be a baller while buying your coffee but it has more of a tapered look.

Pics of other colors are unflattering, prob becase of the model's stance or the intentional slouchy look. Reviews aren't bad either.

I have the american apparel sweats with the elastic cuff at the end and they work really well for going to the post office or getting something small at walmart. The fit is nice and slim too. Not tight, but flattering.

does FAL still exist (fashion active lab); i think the designer was some german, geoffrey grubb? i haven't seen it in a year though

FAL did nicely cut active wear, including sweatpants, in thick cottons or cashmere blends that looked sharp but they were pricey (saks off fifth and nm last call used to always have the stuff on deep discount though)

I'm seeing some good suggestions for sweat pants / fleece loungewear.
But how about NON fleece/sweats?
