Looking for advice on a good brand of loungewear/sweats

I'm looking to get some attractively cut, pajama-y sweat pants that I can wear if I need to run out to the drugstore or for reading a book on a Sunday afternoon in a coffee shop. The sweats that I have now are kind of baggy like 18th century French culottes. I know that Polo makes some though I don't really like the thick waist band that I have seen them cut with. I found these online and I think that they are more in tune with what I'm looking for (though this particular store is out of my size, grrr): http://www.matthewizzo.com/catalog/p...oducts_id=1768 Anyone know of any other brands that make a pant like that? The Gap.

You don't need to over-think sweatpants, man.

^^ I want to over think sweatpants. Im looking for some very heavy, good quality dark navy blue/indigo, wide-ish straight leg. And nothing lowrise, quite the opposite.

J Crew.

Look, when a young man is as unemployed as I am, wearing stylish lounge wear amounts to a primary form of entertainment, ok?

Help my cause, johnson.

+1 on JCrew. I'm a fan of their loungewear. In fact, I'm wearing one of their pajama pants right now. However, this is strictly indoor wear so I've no idea what brands make acceptable loungewear for the street. A&F seems to make decent quality loungewear, but I don't wear their clothing on principle.

End of thread.

I think you can do better than sweats in the coffee shop. Running to the drug store is fine.

What about Y-3?

Well I guess I should add that I'm only 22 and I've been living out in Phoenix for the last four years at college. Its a pretty casual environment as far as day wear goes, so I've gotten used to and enjoy dressing in designer casual when I am out doing low key stuff. I am also in pretty good shape so looking for something a little less baggy than the j crew, I think.

I will take a look at juicy, they were pretty popular for girls on our campus around sophomore year (2005). I also just found these, which might be an option.

I have a few pair of Old Navy and one pair of Banana Republic. The BR's are actually really nice.

I bought a pair heavily discounted at The Gap last year. The first time my friends caught me in them, before knowing where I purchased them, they scorned me with, "Only you would wear designer sweats."

I think I paid $10.

Sweats are too warm for me regardless of season.. But as far as loungewear, I wear Burberry or Paul Smith. I wish more of my favorite forward thinking brands would make loungewear, it's just that the market isn't big enough for this type of garment to be produced by the smaller designers.

Yeah, I hear you. I'd love to see some lounge stuff from Wings+Horn in particular.
