+a bunch on the cool side of the pillow and having your body do something on auto-pilot because you took the time to train it that way

Some good stuff here guys. To add more:

Lush ambient music, cool night, windows/doors open, warm fire, sweat soaked bodies in front of the fire, a whisky buzz

Crisply sauteed mushrooms with butter and pepper

Looking at wine in your cellar and thinking, "That bottle in 10 years, that one when I'm 50, this one for my 60th b-day..."

Coyotes howling as the sun sets

Coho, the suits in the original movie were glorious! I also noticed a Turnbull & Asser box in the closet when Gatsby was throwing the shirts all over the bed, but I guess that's the SF influence

That's a painful scene to watch. Kind of like the one scene from the Scorsese's " the aviator" when Hughes (played by DiCaprio) burned all his clothes. I was like, "mother of god, this sob is crazy!). Well, he did go insane.
