Hello,

So I was watching the 2 hour special on Ebay on CNBC and there was a lady selling some of bird and said she got burned and went to ioffer ?

Looks kind of strange to me, but any opinions ?

Seems like a glorified Craigslist or Kijiji to me, I'd probably steer clear from it.

It's an alternative to eBay for fake brand name goods.

I've used it a few years ago. Sold a couple of things on there. Smooth transactions, no fees involved. You can negotiate the price between the buyer and seller, but the site doesn't give you a sense of protection. Its kinda like you have to have trust in the other party. Its also a place where they can sell counterfeit items by the truck load. Mostly distributors from China sell 'fake' handbags to Canada or US. I wouldn't recommend it if you're selling more expensive items.

I paid for a pair of True Religion jeans from a guy on ebay (don't give me crap for it, I would never buy a pair now). I knew the pics looked stock, and after some perusing, I found he used the pics from iOffer. I also realized, after receiving the jeans, that they were the same ones advertised on iOffer. I e-mailed him, told him they were clearly fake. Lucky for me he was upstanding (although he claimed he didn't know they were fake), refunded my money AND the shipping without much demand on my part. I guess it's not uncommon for items from iOffer to end up on e-bay as authentic.

Ditto. iOffer is the #1 online platform for counterfeiters
