Cool Suitcases - Page 6

Bric's look nice but I've avoided purchasing any because of the PVC coating.

I liked the suitcases from The Darjeeling Limited (by Marc Jacobs)
The final scene when they were throwing them away in a slow motion was so cool.

I was under the impression that they were custom LVs.

Another vote for the Saddleback Leather suitcase. It's on my xmas wishlist.

I don't care if it gets scuffed, roughed up. Adds character.

It it does break, they'll replace/repair it for free. 100 year warranty.

Come in all sorts of sizes, practically indestructable ABS, it even floats too.

They are great for storing and shipping, and if you don't have to carry them, air travel as well. I use them to transport delicate medical electronics and photo gear, but for ordinary luggage, I would seek something much lighter, which would include almost anything made. The case it self would eat a huge hole in your weight allowance.

Bit surprised no one has mentioned American Tourister - the quintessential 60s hard-side suitcases.

I've got a full set of Tiara in gray. Used them on a train tour of the west coast.

Large Suitcase
Medium Suitcase
Small Suitcase
Hard-Side Garment bag
Brief Case
Train Case (for the fiancé)

$200 all in. I relined the cases w/ a beige canvas.

Extremely durable, I get comments on them constantly.
