Advice on ties and pocket squares for a wedding

First post here. I looked through the wedding advice threads but wasn't able to find what I needed.

I am getting married in October and will be wearing a nice navy Samuelsohn suit that I bought last month. The groomsmen are renting navy suits and white shirts since they didn't want to purchase them. The bridesmaids are wearing earth tone colors (beige, champagne, blush). I was going to have the guys wear a champagne colored tie, with a white linen pocket square with champagne colored edges.

My fiance wants me to wear a white shirt and white tie to match her dress. I have looked at some beautiful Sam Hober ties, and was wondering if the grenadine fina white tie https://www.samhober.com/grenadine-fina-solid-ties/white-grenadine-fina-silk-tie-24.html would look good with a navy suit and white shirt. I really like the texture that the grenadine tie provides. Is this considered too informal for a wedding/groom? If I do go with a white tie, what kind of pocket square should I use? White with more of a pattern? White with a blush edge?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Matching, rented suits. Well, so much for strikes one and two.

My fiance wants me to wear a white shirt and white tie to match her dress.
And that's strike three, for the out.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Leave all the decision making on what you should wear to your bride. All of it. Should you wear boxers? Her call. Choice of socks? Her call. Necktie, shirt, pocket square, etc.? The decisions rest with her. Let your involvement consist of being a life-size Ken doll (Ken lacks balls, btw), and saying, "Yes, dear."

The result may be horrible, but she'll probably like it (since it's what she chose). And if even she realizes (probably after the fact) that it's horrible, she can't pin all the blame on you.

Unless you're prepared to completely start over, this is likely your best option. Appoint her Supreme Wedding Commander, such that she owns the success or the failure of the operation. And obey her decisions without argument or hesitation. Do not offer your suggestions, advice, or preferences!

Whether you choose to continue this policy into your marriage is, of course, up to you.

I completely, 100% disagree with Michale's advice...And yet his point is completely 100% correct.
