After a year and a half of actively reading and contributing 556 posts to The Style Forum, I regret to say that I must bid you all adieu.

I am working on a variety of projects offline that require my full attention right now. I must cut back on my online time to ensure that these projects succeed. Hopefully, I can return some day in the future and check back in on everyone and all the goings-on at The Style Forum.

I want to thank you all for your insights and comments. I've learned a lot. If you want to contact me, you are welcome to do so -- my contact info is in my profile.

Good luck, and have fun.

Good luck with your projects - I hope you'll find time to join us later. The forum will be less interesting without you.

They've been dropping like flies around here. First PStoller, then Andrew, now Logan. We're losing a lot of good members.

Anyway, good luck with your projects, and I'd also like to give a personal thanks, as you've helped me with many questions on clothing, as well as ebay.

Hope to see you back around here soon, even if it's just for a quick 'hi' and update on how things have been.

Aye Mr. Logan Flatt, you're leaving? Ach, too bad, no more hardcore laissez-faire talk from you? Anyways, hope you'll prosper in your projects and will visit us again once in a while. All the best for now....

Good luck with your ventures. I'm sure if you're willing to give up all this they must be very important.

Yep, he'll be back. He vowed once before to leave, but he came back. PStoller is the only one that's effectively beat his addiction.

Well, while you're gone Logan, you will be missed. Best of luck...

J, what's with creepy avatar?

It's not creepy, it's art. Besides, look who's talking...

I think its kind of cool.  Who's the artist and when was it painted?  It looks like those paintings made during the plague era.  I remember one I saw of an army of skeletons marching on a city, representative of the plague marching on Europe.  Very creepy but beautifully painted.  I think it was used as the art on the back of a Warren Zevon album.

Take care Logan.  You've been a good, interesting voice on the board here, and your presence will be missed for sure.

*edit* I checked out my albums and the painting I refered to is on the the back of "A Quiet, Normal Life" by Warren Zevon.

It's contemporary, by Mitzura. I think it was for a book cover. I like to think it represents my role here on days when I have to visit death by banning upon the occasional unruly denizen of the forum. The iron fist in the peccary glove, if you will.

Nicely put. Very poetic. I may be slightly biased though, as I have been reading much T.S. Eliot and material by and about "The Lost Generation" for one of my classes.

Logan:

Best Wishes.

Perhaps I'll look you up when I make it up to Dallas.
