MacWorld. It's live. Here is the liveblog. iTunes movie rentals, AirPort Base Station and iPhone "maps" with location. Lots of utilitarian, progressive stuff so far, which is fantastic.

Slim, you're missing it. Apple TV Take 2 just announced. No computer required, you can purchase movies in either DVD quality or HD w/ 5.1 audio. MEGATON!

Answer: Remote Disc. I like. ed: it's an informational site on the webenet. They regularly follow things that you would class as "geeky"; MacWorld is one of them.

Yeah, much like the iPod Touch, it compromises function for aesthetic.

I like it too, though I think I'm going to hobble along with my 12" pb for a few more years.

High-five to the poor man's PowerBook! I recently purchased an iMac which takes care of my PC needs (games) and I have my PowerBook so yeah, it will probably be the end of next year before I'm worrying about another notebook.

It might be the poor mans power book only because it was the cheapest however I personally think it was the best powerbook made. I had one until 5 months ago when I gave it to my sister (she wanted it rather than buying a new 15 inch macbook pro or 13 inch mac book) and loved the damn thing.
