FS - RLPL Parson (Edward Green) Shoes

Hello all,

I have for sale a pair of brand new RLPL Parson shoes made by Edward Green in black calf, size 9/9.5 (UK/US), E width on the 808 last. They are unworn and come with the RLPL box, individual Ralph Lauren shoe bags, the beautiful shoe trees and an Edward Green "How to care for your shoes" leaflet.

I am in the UK and am asking 275 GBP or 495 USD (plus shipping). I'm open to sensible offers.

Sorry the pics aren't great, I found it really hard to take good pictures of black shoes. I'm happy to take more if anyone has any specific requests.

Thanks,

TB

Nice. So they are a UK E width i.e. US D and not wide?

I don't know, sorry. I'm not really up on EG's, I generally buy Lobb. If I had to guess, I'd say that they are a UK E which I believe equates to a US D? They certainly don't look like a wide fitting.

Cheers,

TB

Maybe somebody more knowledgeable could weigh in, but based on my limited (one pair) experience with RLPL/EG shoes, I believe that would be a US E (wide) fitting. For comparison purposes, I'm pretty sure my medium-width RLPL/EG MacKays are marked 11/11.5 D (but I'm not at home now, so I can't confirm that). That said, the 808/888 are generally a pretty snug fit.

Thanks for the information - does anyone know the answer to this for certain?

after reading several threads, I was/am under the impression, that the sizes marked include a)UK size; b)US size, c)UK width (even when manufactured for RL's US market). So, a 9/9.5 E as you have here would be equal to a US 9.5 D. As a generalization, UK E is roughly equivalent to US D. The EG/RLPL shoes marked D are apparently, a UK D which is why they fit so narrowly for a lot of people. if any of this is incorrect, please respond as I'd hate to misrepresent anything for the seller.

I think it's UK width - i.e. "E" mark on both EG and RLPL is regular width
