1. Peru: Machu Picchu and the rainforest were spectacular
2. England: Everywhere. I love castles and the english countryside
3. Portugal: I really loved lisbon and some of the palaces we visited with their extensive gardens
4. Spain: can't remember the name of the town but my grandparents had a villa there that we used to visit in the summers that I really loved.

1. Dublin, Ireland... As cliché as it is, I actually do love that country. I like modern Ireland though, not the weird throwback stuff that most American tourists want when they go there. I actually do go back regularly to visit friends...

2. St. Petersburg, Russia- Absolutely spectacular time in the summer. The best all night parties I've ever been to. Beautiful girls, a ton of architecture, art (Hermitage), so much to see there.

3. London, England- Live music, art, fashion (I'm into the mod scene).

4. NYC- I lived there briefly, and visit as often as I can.

5. Any warm sandy beach that I've been to. I lived near Siesta Key, FL for a while, but I prefer waves at my beaches.

1. Rome 2. Rome 3. Rome 4. Rome 5. Paris on the list Cairo, Egypt - an old friend pocket-dialed me, I heard her speaking the the background, it was around 4 p.m. I called her back to catch up, and she told me she was in Cairo. It was 11 p.m. where she was and they were just then returning from dinner. Her work sends her to these places all the time. Lucky girl. Madrid, Spain Bonn, Germany Reykjavik, Iceland London

GQGeek- haha. nicely done.

Since all the cool kids are saying where they'd like to go:
1. Africa (May go to World Cup in South Africa, but will probably opt to go at a less hectic time and try to enjoy the wildlife and culture.)

2. Tibet- Interested in the culture and history, and I love hiking... Figure it would be an epic time.

3. Mongolia- One of my Irish friends went there on some crazy trip through the desert and it sounded like a blast. I have to see Hövsgöl Nuur (Hovsgol Lake).

4. Zermatt, Switzerland- I love to ski and snowboard. Cool that no cars are allowed in this village. Has world's second biggest lift-served vertical drop and gets huge amounts of snow.

5. The Moon- Anyplace really outrageous... If the moon isn't available by the time I start to get old, I'll opt for Antarctica and maybe pop up to Patagonia from there.

Padova? Really? I suppose it's worth a flight to Italy just to see the Arena Chapel, but aside from that I wasn't overly impressed. I agree with you on Palermo though, the combination of Mediterranean and Arabic influences is really incredible. Siena is great too, if overly crowded with tourists.
