These are Alden captoe boots, originally made for Browns Fashion on the Modified last, in size 9.5D. They are color 8 shell cordovan with black edge dressing, a single leather sole, and an aftermarket Vibram commando sole heel installed by Aram at Ah One Shoes.

These were bought new in August of 2016 and have been worn a couple times a month since. Alden's modified last is amazingly comfortable, but almost impossible to find in shell cordovan without buying from France or Japan for over $1,000. The color on these is also much more of the 'eggplant' traditional color of Alden's #8 shell, as opposed to the more recent darker treatment. The slight imperfections and discolorations in the shell are due to that lighter color, and have existed on the boots since I bought them. These are in great shape, although there are marks on the toe and around the heel from the vibram soles bumping up against the leather, as shown in the photos. The commando soles are showing barely any wear, and the shoes have been well cared for and stored with shoe trees when not in use. These will be packaged and shipped securely via USPS with their original box and bags. The leather laces are aftermarket, but I'd be happy to throw in the original waxed laces as well if you'd prefer.

Let me know if you have any questions!
