Anybody buy from ebay seller fashiongala

Anybody buy from this seller before? I'm thinking of bidding on a few of the Thomas Pink shirts, but I am curious as to whether they're legitimate, and what experiences people have had with the seller (who appears to be fairly recent) and the brand. FYI : I'm a 16.5 neck, 35.5 to 36 sleevelength, so finding shirts in my size is usually tricky. Most 16.5 34/35's run short on me after a few washings, and most 16.5 36/37's stay slightly long after a few washings. Ebay item 3935717368

Do a search on Thomas Pink on here, there have been many references to the brand. There is not a very high collective opinion, as far as I have seen, but some like them. I have no experience with them.

My partner at work bought a Pink shirt from this seller. We compared it to an old Pink shirt I had. We were curious if the shirts were fakes. The new shirt was made cheaper with differences in stitching, matching patterns, gusset material, etc. I am no expert and would not want to wrongly accuse someone of selling fake merchandise, but I did not think the shirts were worth the asking price. Possibly the shirts are just made cheaper than in the past. I am also a 16.5/36 and was considering buying one of the sellers shirts but decided to look elsewhere.

I bought the same shirt from fashiongala on a whim. I'm also a 16.5/36 (which was the shirt size auctioned). I actually received a 16.5/38. The material is labelled Supefine 170s'. Honestly, it didn't feel very "fine". Actually, it didn't seem as well made or the material as fine as the Lewin Luxury line. Good luck. Ken

Nota bene: The manufacture of standard Pink shirts has changed and gotten somewhat shoddier over the last few years. They might not be fakes that you bought... If my memory serves me correctly: Normal Pinks -- most made in Morocco, plastic buttons. "Sea Island quality" (140s cotton) Pinks -- made in Ireland, MOP buttons. 170s Pinks -- also made in Ireland, MOP buttons. Ties: all $95, some made in Morocco, some in France, etc. While LVMH has been a boon to us in Japan (many more Berluti outlets in Japan = less time away from Kitchen Stadium) true quality often suffers.

Be careful comparing new pink shirts to old ones. Pink has now been owned by LVMH for a few years and I believe has moved most all of the manufacturing to Asia. Edit: Kaga just beat me to it...
