Hi guys. First post and it's a needy one!

Getting married outside in Canadian rockies. 2 guests only, very intimate. Bride wearing ivory dress, no veil or trail. I'm stuck as what to wear. Wanted a 3 piece tweed but had no luck. Tried suitsupply, they have limited options due to end of season. Blue is the colour and I'm undecided on a full suit (not tux!) or seperates.

Lost some bulk on shoulders due to recent surgery and will put 'some' back on before the wedding as doing daily rehab and put bulk on easy.

The problem is I'm bang between sizes. Get a 40r and unlikely to get any future use, 42r and will need some work and may be a bit big at shoulder.

The suit is aquascutum. Nice and safe , but concerned that the left arm is tight and will get tighter.

This is a gieves and hawkes jacket from the saville row store. Cuffs to be shortened and waist taken in. Weight and feel is fantastic but maybe too big? I would welcome suggestions on what to wear on the bottom half?

Flowers are white and rose. Small wedding. 2 guests

Any opinions are helpful, pse

Seems far-fetched to have left it until seven days before but just get what you are comfortable in wearing: no-one is going to notice.

and congratulations enjoy the day

Cheers GBR

There are a number of reasons as to why I'm only getting a suit 3 weeks before the wedding (1 week before leaving for holiday) but it's irrelevant to the readers.

The question is one of what do you guys think to; separates for a relatively informal wedding, is the suit too small or should I size up, is the jacket too big? Keeping in mind that Ill manage to put on a little bulk in 3 weeks.

I appreciate its a short time but I was under the impression (after reading the forum for a while now) that I would be able to get some of the excellent advice I've seen dispensed here frequently.

Hopefully someone will answer the call!

Thanks
