Ebay eg supplier

Has anyone noticed that Nick's EG inventory seems to have dwindled substantially? Maybe he has received so many emails from members of these boards that he is not selling much on eBay any more. I tried emailing him but he didn't have any EGs (has been this way for a few months now). Instead, he tried to sell me on some John Lobbs (he has a much larger inventory of Lobbs). Lobbs are beautiful but I prefer EG in both fit and appearance. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened to Nick's previously abundant EG selection, which appears to have dried up. Has EG cut him off?

I believe Nick lives in Northampton, or close thereto. He sells Lobb under the ebay name "Modern Vintage." He sells EG under the name "English Shoes." If you send him an email he will respond fairly quickly. Tell him that you have read about him on this site (or the Ask Andy site). If you provide your shoe specifics, he will tell you what he has in stock in your size. Typically, the Lobbs are marked with an "R" inside, meaning that they were rejected. However, Lobb's standars are so high that they reject a ton of shoes for reasons that most people would never notice. For example, Lobb will frequently reject shoes that they feel will not reach the high level of polish that they require. If you see the shoes in person or the photos that Nick sends, however, you will see that the shoes are beautiful. And given the price that Nick is able to offer, they are a great deal. He often has a number of pair that he doesn't advertise for sale on eBay (probably due to the fact that he has so many regular customers who purchase outside the ebay network now). Good luck.

Pardon my ignorance, but who is this "Nick" with a large inventory of Lobbs- how do I contact him?
Restrain yourself.
