New with tags from FW15. Retail price $2,295. A Balmacaan is a classic, easy-fitting dress coat that pairs just as well with your suits and blazers as it does with casualwear. Its country origin will make you look smart without looking overdressed.
Fabric: soft yet durable, midweight 100% virgin wool twill woven from charcoal grey, black, golden brown and moss green yarns in Glen Plaid pattern (click here: an informative post about the weave).
Features: a Balmacaan styled overcoat with raglan sleeves, a Prussian collar that can be buttoned up to the neck, single breasted front, two slanted pockets, two interior pockets, button tab cuffs, a detachable belt, rear vent, reinforced hem that ensures the coat to sway beautifully as you walk, and finished with sleek, fully lined viscose and cupro lining. Made in Italy.
Fit and Measurements (I carefully conducted): labeled size is IT48 and fits M-L. Roomy and comfortable fit. Knee length for a 6 feet person.
