I’m not fat, but I feel like I am

Thread Starter
I'm an 18 years old girl and I weigh 105 pounds and I'm 5'4". I don't eat regularly and most of days I eat under 500 calories. I feel like a huge person. People tell me I'm not fat, but I feel like I am and I can't let myself believe what they say. What can I do to diet? My friends always say that I'm going to die from anorexia. I just want to be thin. Please help me providing a good dieting.

Yea, I think so. The name of the forum is "social life, food, and drink" so I wouldn't be surprised if it shows up in some Google searches with the terms social life and food.

I agree it could be a serious post.

An excellent reply by Hoff, and one that reflects well on this forum.

That's kind of what I was thinking, hence the only reason I didn't initially post a smartass comment. It's just so oddly phrased...

If it is a serious post, please check Hoff's first post, and realize what you see in your mind is not always a reality...

105lbs at 5'4" seems ok to me. My woman weighs something like 102 or so (maybe less?) and is about 5'2" or so. She looks great.

I smell a case of anorexia, yummy!

Eat 6 times a day every 3 hours (small meals, it's to accelerate your metabolism. Maybe 1000-1500 calories a day I am no expert)
Drink plenty of water and try to do light exercise like walking.
I would recommend going to the bodybuilding.com forum, there is plenty of reliable info.

Remember if you don't eat your body will "think" you are dying or something, so fat won't go before muscle and your curves will disappear =/.
Hope that helps.

OK: do eat regularly, and most of days eat a healthy amount of food, more than 1000 calories.

If you only eat a half or third of what you should eat, your body will be worried that there's no more energy coming for a long time, so it will try and store some of it as fat. Plus you won't have any energy to run about having a busy day, you will just feel slobbish and apathetic towards any activities (same as if you were obese!)

So it makes sense to eat more and get your body out of starvation mode. Listen to your friends.

Heh, yea that is a clever tactic. Post a seemingly real message but don't add the spam until a few days later when it has likely been forgotten but will still get picked up by search robots.
