I recently bought a brown suede LaMatta jacket with cashmere lining (on sale) and the thing is so comfortable, it's like wearing a cloud. My bid: $135

Is the color closer to the first set of pics (orange-brown) or the second set showing the pocket closeup (tanish)?

It is more tan/very light brown like in the first two pics. The second pic (the little bit of the leather you see) being the most representative. No orange in it.

ok who is the winner and what is the final price? (considering any pms Ed may get)


what i was hoping was that me absorbing 20% would up the bid even more for more donation to J. i should have offered this earlier but did not see this till now.
so basically this is just me helping the guy pay J.

oh well!

here's what i will do:
I will cover 20%
and
I will add another 20% to donate to J.

(you know, the 'Save' button does not work when you edit; it just circles and circles.. you have to press 'Go Advanced' and then save changes)

The high bid looks like $168. I wouldn't sweat the 20% you offered here. In lieu of a cash donation, you could also offer a similar item for auction for the forum.

sounds like a good idea, but if it is a pair of shoes, i dont think i have enough balls to donate all the amount to J. perhaps 20% again.

Sure but the only problem with shoes is that the market for a given size will be much smaller than a vest like this so there will likely be much fewer bidders. A tie perhaps?
