The greatest leather! Anyone know why they do not do reverse chamois in lighter colors? is it something with the process? Right now I have only seen Earth, Tobacco, Dark Green and Navy

As someone else pointed out, I believe it is smooth chamois and not reverse.

I dunno. I guess flat welts are in across the board, even on chunky boots. But this makeup checked enough boxes for me! Very much looking forward to it.

On Styleforum everything seems to be sleek this and sleek that...

Anyone have a lead on a pair of the Leather Soul vintage Indys? (Looking for 8D).

I've been wanting an Alden with that vibram sole for a while, and the stock kudu Indy doesn't really do it for me. Very excited.

If I could ever get my hands on on a super well priced NST Black shell tanker I would send it off to have a full commando sole put on it. I still kick myself for passing on the JCrew Black Tanker....I just had gotten a discount for the Jcrew CC and my size was sold out.

You can get one from Vass in that sole. It's different from Alden, sure, but an alternative.

Quoddy has off-white and red chamois available in some makeups. Would love to see what some Alden people would do with that stuff.

I previously said I lusted after these green suede LWBs. Someone, and sorry I can't find the post to thank them, suggested that Yenni was taking orders on this style again. As always, she was helpful and I got in my EEE sized order for a June delivery on this style. Sweet.

they look amazing :fonz:

I can't get a good fit in loafers because my feet are different size ( 10E and 10.5D). So due to lack of laces, I always get slippage in the smaller foot. Is there a solution to this without getting different sized pair?

@Gabru

tongue pads should do trick

Trying a tongue pad and thin insole to take up some volume might be a good place to start. I've had great success with tongue pads to keep the foot pushed back into the heel cup of the shoe, worked much better than heel grips.
