Yes, it can be resoled. I think that the stitchdown method that Viberg uses is probably most analogous to the blake rapid construction. Others are probably more analogous to simple blake stitching.
A worn down sole can be removed, and then the new sole glued and then stitched on. Viberg does this for its own boots, and cobblers all across the PNW remake similarly stitched down boots for wildland firefighters en masse after fire season.
