It might be worth considering a SF discount like most SF affiliates have.
As for Vanda, they also make their ties completely by hand.

An offer for the Styleforum sounds like a very good idea, thank you for the advise. What do you feel would make our offer interesting?

Going forward, I suggest you drop the limited edition gimmick. I don't think you are moving too many customers with the whole "We only have 33 left".

It would also be helpful for you to clarify what "invincible seam" is.

Hello Starro,

I like the "going forward" thinking. We have been making limited edition ties for a long time now. Some ties get sold out within weeks, some others need more time and has worked fine up to now. We might create a non limited product in the future, but that is something still under research here

The invincible seam is helps from having those little "pinches" on the front of the blade and for those they like detail, like us, it makes the hem look like glued. If this photo is not helping enough, I will try to get a closer shot tomorrow morning, for you

Hello from Athens "patrioti"! And thank you for your kind words.

We are collecting opinions based on Stanchris' idea on an offer for all Styleforum members. Shipping I feel is already good, €20 for express with Dhl and free over €200, but we are looking for something special for SF members

One of our most popular creations are these classic pocket squares, which have been hand sewn in house and hand embroidered by our seamstress.

They can be also personalised with monogram.

These pocket squares can be found in Egyptian cotton or French linen at the dimension of 33x33cm. (13x13inch)

You can click on the images of these linen pocket squares for higher resolution photos and zoom in for more detail

I believe the standard is something around 10-15% off using a code along the lines of "SF10"

Getting rid of the VAT would bring it down close to the Sam Hober price on unlined 8-folds. Not that I've ever felt the urge to get those from there.

Dear Concordia, thank you for the idea. It did take us some time, but we are now ready to say that shipping to non-EU countries is now TAX FREE and we also added standard shipping, which may take 2-3 more days to arrive than the express shipping but has a conciderable better cost. Please visit our site www.kydos.gr and let me know of your thoughts

I wish you good luck. At this price point, you will likely need to offer bespoke length and width to be competitive. I'd also suggest at a minimum, you list the length of the standard length tie.

WillingToLearn, your suggestion on length has been fixed. Now our ties also indicate their length next to their width. Please also check the prices for non-EU shipping and the new more competitive standard shipping.

Wow they are insanely expensive for a tie in my opinion. However they are very beautiful. Good luck!

Shortlefty, if you live in a non-EU country, then i would love to have your opinion once again

Here is one of our brand new ties in brown tweed, made of silk (with abit of wool, linen and viscose to get the tweed feeling) woven in Como, Italy. The tie has no interlining, and has been hand sewn at every step, into an 8 fold tie. The fabric gives a good standing knot and should you like it also gives nice dimples

It is 9 cm (3,55 inch) at its widest point, 150 cm (59 inch) long.

Greek embroidery tradition traces back to the Byzantine ages. Skyros island’s elegant embroidery designs were exclusive creations of the ruling class’ families and were guarded with secrecy to avoid coping and to preserve them during the passage of time. Skyros island’s designs, among other, were symbolizing fertility (hoopoe), the passage of life (ship) and youth (flowers).

At ΚΥΔΟΣ we designed our own Skyros pattern from scratch based on our family’s inherited embroidery. Lightweight silk has been sourced in the Greek silk village of Soufli and each pocket square had each of its sides rolled by hand by our seamstress in house.
The result is this elegant Greek design silk pocket square in winter colours.

You can see them folded and in high resolution photos where you can zoom in at www.kydos.gr

Few days ago we introduced this pre-tied black bow tie. It is handsewn - as always - and we have used 100% silk velvet for the facing bow and 100% silk satin for the back bow, to create a playfull visual effect.

It has a silk satin strap, which can be easily adjusted

It has already been put in good action for the first Christmas charity event and celebrations from good friends of ours

We hope you like it
