$240, bit too expensive, IMO.

Nay. Not a fan of dress/casual hybrids. They look like something from Diesel.

I don't like those either. Personally I go for one or the other -- either dress shoes with leather soles or trainers.

All look same.

I think people are against the way the shoe tries to strattle the line between dress shoe and athletic sneaker. Just get one for each, unless you feel the need to shoot some hoops at the office. It's not just the price so please don't just post some similar looking skechers next.

These would look good with jeans, and trim cut pants for a casual look and an alternate to sneakers. I think your overall look has to match it, trim, lean, modern and not mixed with trad cut garments IMO.

Yeah, I need casual shoes that would go with jeans. I am not looking for shoes for office. I don't like to wear jeans with pair of Nike.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Paul-Smith-F...8713409&sr=1-5 That's what I went for. I think they are casual enough to pair with a t-shirt, but they are also slim enough and with some nice detail's that, once they are scuffed up a bit, I think will look ok when I'm out...

Haven't you seen the commercials? Skechers and jeans is an unbeatable combination.

Do you seriously think that in the huge world of shoes, there are only office dress shoes and nikes? There are plenty of respectable sneakers choices, workwear boots, casual looking dress shoes, desert boots, etc... Look around in the waywt thread here in sw&d some. Plenty of people wearing jeans and shoes not by nike.

I think Clark's desert boots can give you the right look and they're not a true boot in the traditional sense.

Yeesh. Although the other day I was randomly thinking that I would like something in the style of old football/soccer boots. I think Camper makes stuff that is close to what I'm talking about.
