Hello all,

I am a newbie. Where can I find an asymmetrical vest (double-breasted?) like the one in the attached pic below? Also, please tell me what the proper name for this particular style of vest. I really want it in a tweed, but I can't seem to find the style in any material.

If possible list some shops that are online that have a good selection of all types of waistcoats. Shops that would charge less than $350 for an off the rack waistcoat. Thanks in advance.

I don't see any pics attached, but if you're looking for double-breasted waistcoats, they are sometimes referred to as morning dress waistcoats.

Charles Tyrwhitt has a decent selection. You can also find them at Ede & Ravenscroft. Suitsupply has started carrying a couple, but they tend to be quite loud.

. Look at the picture above. That is the vest style I'm referring to.

I've done quite a bit of searching for waistcoats recently and purchased one from Stewart Christie in Edinburgh (it has yet to arrive). Walker Slater in the same city also has a fair selection. ShoeFinance77's suggestions are also good. All that said, I've not seen one like the one you pictured until now.

If you're still looking, can you find out the manufacturer of the one you like and go from there?Perhaps having one made for you by a good tailor would be the best option.
