Leather carry bag / pannier bag

I'm looking for a bag like this, that can also clip onto a Dutch bike.

Would you consider the below to be SF-approved?

SF does not "approve" anything and to spend your money based on web board opinions makes no sense. The questions for you should be:

1: Does meet your functional requirements?
2: Do you like it?
3: Can you afford it?

and that is it.

Oh yea, this is SF approved. It doesn't rain too much here, and that one will work really well. It would be worse if you lived in Portland, Oregon or Seattle. At that point you probably had to go with water proof nylon or canvas.

I would be reluctant to use something like that on a bike on the basis that it looks heavy, it will scratch, and it will get wet.

Have a look at:

I'm a big fan of their utility type bags (my only rucksack is from ther, and it's great). Sadly this one seems to be out of stock, but their stock comes back in fairly regularly I think...

Thanks guys! I have "bespoken" one with pannier clips on the back.

I'm a fairweather cyclist, and my current nylon bag isn't as office friendly as I would like (it's a pretty formal office).

On the contrary, SF approves many things, and this is one of them.

Here is the Very Official Styleforum Seal of Approval.

For what it's worth, I'm surprised how hard it is to find a product like this. Most of the pannier bags are nylon / canvas. The leather ones that are available aren't office friendly, or don't have pannier attachments. I'm a bit surprised I had to turn to a custom maker on etsy for it.

I'll post photos and a review once it arrives, in case there are other SFers who are looking for a formal leather pannier bag.
