Time for some fall trouser closet cleaning. These are trousers I rarely wear (in one case, have only worn once). Both are unique, but still versatile in distinct ways. Both are done in Epaulet's Walt shape, a fitted straight trouser cut by hand at Hertling Trousers in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. No alterations have been made to these except for hemming by a professional alterations tailor in New York City. All measurements taken from the garment itself. Both fabrics are deadstock, and only a few pairs of each were made. More details below. I'll be happy to offer discounts for purchases of multiple items I've listed, either in this thread or in other listings.

First up is a fantastic trouser in a lightweight ochre variegated donegal tweed. This trouser was made from a deadstock tweed, and only four pairs were made. The color depth is truly phenomenal, and the trousers are unusually soft for a tweed. The color is surprisingly versatile, reading like a dark trouser or earth tone, but matching with nearly any color shirt or sweater in your wardrobe. The fabric is warm, but the donegal weave is open enough to allow for breathability -- more than a comparable weight flannel or worsted fabric -- allowing the trousers to be worn in a variety of temperatures and easily both indoors and outside. It's a true three-season weight (again, rare for a tweed), and if you live in a cool climate, you could wear them year round. Worn 2-3 times. Stored in a cedar-lined closet in a pet-free, smoke-free home. Tough to let go of these. They're an amazing pair of trousers.

Measurements:
Waist: 33" with 1.25" to let out
Thigh: 12"
Inseam: 30.5" with a full 2.25" to let out

Purchased new for $195. Yours for $85 shipped.

Second, a patterned pair of trousers to end all patterned trousers. These are easily the most well-designed and most versatile, wearable patterned trousers I've ever seen. The ground of the fabric is a staple, Super 120s gray fine wool, and the pattern is a subtle dark red plaid with a blue stripe for distinctiveness. Because the blue isn't a windowpane, and because the red is dark (i.e. not a bright holiday red), the pattern only becomes apparent at closer range, making the trousers about as versatile as a patterned fabric could be while still being distinctive. The fabric is luxurious but not delicate -- substantial enough to be worn multiple times weekly. True four-season weight. This fabric was deadstock, and only two pairs were made. Worn only once. Overall, this is an amazing pant. It's clearly great for fall and winter, but would work great with lighter colors in warmer weather as well.
