I'm waiting for one of you guys to say that Trump can't be considered racist because he makes sexist comments and insults white men too.

The irony actually is that the number one quality his deplorable fans see in him is that he "tells it like it is" which in large part means he insults people for a wide variety of reasons many of which are taboo. If he didn't insult people he would just be another rich political interloper with horrible policies, that is where he actually has outlined a policy. This whole Trump phenomenon absolutely does not exist without his bigoted insults.

No, the Somalis are taking all the soft targets here.

.

I'm vaguely reminded of the cliche that "I can't be racist! I have black friends!"

Trump has a Tweet telling people to go watch Alicia Machado's sex tape.

That'll help him dismiss those pesky sexism charges! Apparently it's not even her, but not like "facts" or "reality" has mattered much to Trump up to this point.

No one has answered my question yet. Is it de facto sexism to give a female a personal insult?
Not if she's a conservative. Otherwise, yeah.

I want to side with Veni but somehow I feel 'Turk's answer is more accurate from a practical standpoint.

FTFY. Assumed it wasn't a serious question. I'm sure this thread and this site are full of criticism and insults directed to various women that did not draw charges of sexism, despite the fact that there's no shortage of folks here able and willing to make such charges.

If your real question is, "are there people who are prepared to characterize any insult to a woman as de facto sexism?", then the answer is "sure, of course". Just like there are people who are prepared to characterize any objection to the rankest sexism, racism, etc. as PC/SJW/whatever run wild.

But if you really believe the practical answer is "yes, any insult directed to a woman will be seen as sexism", you move in some very strange circles.
