Bally Shoes and how people feel about them

So I just scored these Bally's for cheap and I want to know if these are shoes you guys consider to be of decent quality. I've been up and down these forums and I made an account specifically to ask this. Are these shoes gravy or straight ass biscuits?

Found this on a different forum

Among Bally shoes, the highest quality line is the "Scribe". This line is fully Goodyear welted, very nice leather (not corrected grain), and rather decent attention to detail. The lasts and therefore the shape of the shoes are plus/minus. They retail around $800 range. Too expensive, but often times can be had for much less on Ebay. The sole is close-channeled.

The rest of the Bally line of shoes are regrettable at best, although the overall quality is not any different than any of the other "fashionable" brand names.

I want to know about the quality of their shoes lately. All forums I've read are from half a decade ago so I want a recent review of their shoes (not scribe) if someone can provide me one
